Too much violence, not enough plot. We didn't stay to finish it.

Good solid comic book movie

This is a comic book movie. I never expect Oscar performances, or deeply provoking plots from a comic book movie. Just a solid couple of hours of lively bash-boom-kapow, and a reasonable amount of respect for the comic and back story. Given that, Wolverine delivered well. In short, I came out of the movie feeling that I got a good return on my ticket price and happy that I went. It should be watchable and entertaining even by those who haven't read the comics. And much better than some of the previous X-Men movies. I'd rank it roughly even with the Spiderman series, but below the newest Hulk remake or Iron Man.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
