A very action packed movie and Hugh Jackman is very pleasing to the eyes!! I especially enjoyed the history background on the two brothers, via the flasbacks to the present day.
Very interesting scene on how Wolverine became what he is and why!! This helps to better understand his character in the other X-men movies
Hope for a sequel!!!

While I know the movie was primarily about Wolverine, I think they could have given a little more depth to the other characters in the film. The movie tied in nicely with the previous X-men films.

the movie was better than i thought it would be. and it matched up perfectly with other x-men movies, and it didn't leave any gaps. and you could tell the claws were digitaly put in but the were huge and could cut anything!!!!

Not only is Hugh the hottest thing on the planet, the rest of the guys weren't too bad either. Great to finally know the backstory, the special effects were great. I couldn't believe it was over so fast.

I was really expecting this to be a 2 star movie, I was pleasantly suprised. They pulled so much from the past source material, I was very pleased with the movie. The introduction of Victor Creed as his half brother, they've always teased that in the comics. Blob was well played, Agent Zero, Gambit was good (would have liked a little more Gambit who was a little more Cajun), Silver Fox was well done. They toyed with a few things I wish they wouldn't have, Deadpool and the Hudsons, but all in all I thought it was great! Sit through all the credits!

As a lady I found this movie excelent far beyond the comic-geek appeal of it's exterier. Hugh did not disappoint in the looks department and the cinimatography and overall watchability of the movie was great! Lots of action and a great "history lesson" that ties in well with the other X-men stories. I would reccomend it to my friends and already have!

Packed with action from begining to end. I enjoyed this movie a lot. I was surprised no too many people at the movie, maybe because the swine flu. but the movie is formidable.

I thought it was an excellantly filmed and designed movie. Very absorbing into the plot. My family and I love X-Men movie's but this one was the best of all. Only issue I had with it was the few cuss words and the nudity part because my children love these movies but it's hard to let them watch it when they hear that stuff and see what was on the screen. But for the rest it was totally awesome! We will be buying that for our home collection.

I thought they could have done a little better on Wolverine's "surgery" if you will, not that I get off on stuff like that, but it just seemed like it took alot less time than it should have. This was a fun movie I really enjoyed. However, it did seem a little choppy to me, almost as if they just cut and started up in a different location/different year every time they wanted to progress in the story instead of having a smooth transition. The helicopter explosion as he calmly walks away and when he kicks the big bad at the very end - while looking really cool - also looked really staged. Personally, I don't always mind that, but I just expected it to look more like the other three X-Men movies, so that's my bad. But - and this is coming from someone who's read VERY FEW of the comics - I liked the story and I want more!

I'm not a huge fan of X-men and so I'm probably less biased as other fans. I enjoyed the plot very much. I'm kind of confused as to what kind of a deal did Victor have with Striker that made him do the things he did. I also don't understand the final scene with the helicopter and the guy using telepathy to communicate. Who is he, and why didn't he arrive earlier? Special effects were stunning. Overall I was very pleased. I guess if I knew more about the X-men I would appreciate it on a deeper level.

This was overall an entertaining movie but by far the least of the 4 (2 is still one of my top 5 movies of all time). The action is great but I just got that feeling that the filmmakers were trying too hard. It's that same style that made Spider-Man 3 so bad. They try to push the boundries so much that it makes the story too unbelieveable and the characters loose their credability.
Also, it's best to not go to the movie with someone unfamiliar with the first 3 or the comics themselves or you will be trying to explain what is happening and who the characters are the whole time.
Like I said, overall it is entertaining for a fan of the series but prepare to be disappointed and start looking forward to Star Trek next week!

I have been looking forward to this movie ever since I heard that they were in production. Hugh Jackman is excellent as Wolverine and his perfomance in this movie was exemplary. In addition, I really enjoyed Levi Schreiber's performance. He was menacing and witty.
However, where I feel the movie fell short was the acting of the supporting cast. Their performance didn't provide the weight that the previous X-Men movies supporting casts provided. In addition, though I love Ryan Reynolds in dramas and comedies, I feel he was a poor choice for this film . The required intensity for his character was missing.

This was an action-packed movie with great fight scenes and decent special effects. However, the story line is incongruous in places with the X-Men trilogy predating it. This origins movie felt a bit rushed, with pieces of the plot not matching previous story lines. Overall, not a bad movie, but not a fluid transition from the previous movies.

This movie was better than I thought it would be. I was pretty excited to see it but after seeing it I was talking about it for days. It is a MUST see. I told all of my friends to see it. It was completely the right about of action and story line. The action was not over done and the story was great and had some twists. I loved learning the past of Logan and how he got the name Wolverine, it was very shocking because I was an X-Men fan since I was little and I never knew some of the stuff I learned in the film. GO SEE people. :)
