No, I was not disappointed with the movie itself. I thought it was very good. What I was disappointed with was the fact that this movie that the toys & cartoon that I loved as a kid I was not able to share with my almost 10 year old son due to the constant innuendos.
I really don't understand why they had to go on and on with it. Transformers was meant to be for a young audience and yet they made it completely inappropriate for kids. It really made no sense to me why they had to go in that direction. I am not bothered by the innuendos, but I am bothered that it was in what should have been a kids movie.
Thanks Michael Bay for ruining what should have been a great father and son movie.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was a summer blockbuster hit! The theater was packed for our showing and there were lines for later showings.
I was pleased to see that it was better than the first (I thought that would be impossible) and the trailers for the movie did not do it justice. The most disappointing factor was the profanity. I took 3 children, ages 10, 8, & 5, and was shocked at the choice of words used. The movie would have been just as good or better without the use of a few choice words. It did nothing but disappoint in that sense.
Other than that, I would reccommend it to anyone who liked the first one. Just don't take the kiddies to see it! It really was a great movie!!!

This movie was almost exactly what I expected. It was a bit long, they could have condensed it to be more action packed but otherwise I think it was a hit. Shia was amazing and very handsome. He is most definitely one of the best male actors of our generation. Megan fox was smokin hot. I wasnt too thrilled about the twins they sort of annoyed me. Even though they weren't the main focus in the movie each scene with Sam's parents was very entertaining. And last but not least Optimus Prime is my hero!!!

I think the movie was incredible. Shia Labeouf and Megan Fox are the cherry on top of this movie. I almost peed in my pants laughing! The action was FANTASTIC! Hoping for a 3rd movie.

I took my 8 year old to see this movie. We really enjoyed it and he loved all the fight scences between the good guys and the bad guys. I thought it was better than the first. I would go back again to see it in the theater.

This movie was amazing!!! I loved the 1st Transformers and this was better than the first.
There is nothing missing from this movie, the action was non stop, it was funny through the whole movie and then there were parts that made you want to cry. It is a full package deal!! I can't wait to go and see it again!

I liked the story and the interaction between the characters but they are really pushing the PG-13 barrier with all of the innuendos this time. I thought this would be a movie you could take the kids to but I am glad I saw it without them first.
Fun movie, great action and the rest of the audience loved it too-lots of reactions, just leave the young ones at home.

All of the action scenes were awesome. The story transfered well into the second film and all of the same actors were used. All that you would expect out of the first film was there and then some! I would definitely recommend this film to anyone that watched the cartoon as a kid and all those that do not know of them in this generation.

Decepticons all looked alike. And where was that awesome Vette? It barely made an entrance.
No amazing cgi for the robot transformations. Just instant robots.
The soundtrack didn't even move me as much as the popcorn did. Jon Voight's Secretary of Defence, in the first Transformers, was brave, savvy and smart. In this poor follow up John Benjamin Hickey was a cowardly, foolish man with the same name. It ruined a good crew.
Poor dialogue and minimal interaction. For a few golden moments, Sams parents, the original pairing for the first movie, gave us hope for another fun time. That was over quickly.
For those who like the raw battle, there's plenty of molten, twisted metal. But the movie itself had no metle.

This movie is Rated PG-13 for a reason. The violence is 4x more intense then the first one. threw out the movie you will see civilians getting crushed, bodies flying in the air and such. There is some foul language involved with this too. .You shouldn't take a kid that is younger then 13 to this movie. It was very good movie with the stunning effects. The story line was pretty good. Other people may disagree with me because they didn't focus on Bumble bee or Iron hide or even Prime. Prime has a big role though so pay attention to what he says and does. Within 20 minutes of the movie you should hit one of the best fights ever to hit the movie screen Prime vs 6-8 deceptcons by him self. (with his double blades ) you will enjoy it.

While Mr. bay did a great job at directing this action packed blockbuster the story fell way short of awesome. Increased foul language, 5 comedic reliefs, unrealistic events. If they could transform in flesh...why didn't they do that in the first movie and just walk right into sector 7 and grab the all-spark? Both heroes die, BUT DON'T WORRY! because there is always some magical cube or device that will bring you back to life :)

Pros of movie:
- Extreme Action and breathtaking graphics.
- Megan Fox: hot
- More Megatron and StarScream my favorites in Transformers in cartoons and movies.
- Megatron as triple changer: love him as tank and spaceship
- Fight scenes were spectacular
Cons
- too much crude humor
- too much of parents
- Made Optimus too powerful
- Too little show time of Megatron as Tank: like 10 seconds show time
- Fallen was weak: Like Emperor in Star Wars: overhyped character in which his apprentice outshined him in power and coolness.

This movie starts by kicking your teeth in. Action packed and funny as well. My eyes and ears were glued to the screen and my butt was glued to the seat. As soon as I got out of the theatre after watching the first movie the day it came out (July 11th, 2008), I knew Transformers 2 was slated for a 2009 release....it was well worth the wait, as will Transformers 3 (July, 2012) I am sure. If you haven't seen this movie...I say don't wait, not if you want to see an awesome movie.

This is probably the best movie I've seen ALL YEAR so far. Blows the first one out of the water. I'm not going to give out too much, but the actions scenes were on point. The storyline made sense and jokes were funny. This is definitely worth the high price of movies today. Go for it.
Side note. The one part that was disturbing was the behavior and attitude of the twin autobots. Very buffoonish.

The movie was great. It was action packed with a lot of more transformers and my son loved that. But....it was a little long. I thought maybe they tried to jam too much into it. Also, there were a lot of kids in the theater and the language is much worse than the first one. Definitely close to R rating I think. They could have left it out and still been GREAT!!! Kids mostly don't get it anyway. I would love to buy this for my son when it comes out but I know he will watch it over and over and eventually pick up EVERY bad word in it and there is a bunch!! As an adult...I loved it. I Hope they make another one!!

This movie was everything I expected. Non-stop action from the word go! Special effects were great. A ton more robots and fight scenes. Story was good enough to hold it's own. Acting was fair. If you want a non-stop thrill ride with lot's of action, then this movie will fulfill your needs.
