The movie was great! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend it for anyone 12 and up.

My son and I LOVED it!

I took my 11 year old son with me to go see this movie, because he loves the Pirate movies. We both walked out saying that we really liked it. We both highly recommend this movie.

What a great start to the movie about the final book. As a fan of the book I was very happy with how they did their best to stick with the book. Of course, making the choice to go with a 2 part movie was a wise choice to be able to do that.
I think that they left part 1 off at a good point and leaves you wanting for more. Part 2 can't come soon enough.

I was disappointed at many of the changes they made to the movie and the things they left out. To me it felt like I was watching the cliff notes version rather then having and abridged version of the book.
I would still recommend seeing the movie, but don't go in with the high expectations that you have had for some of the other movies. Order of the Phoenix is still my favorite movie.

I Was Disappointed

No, I was not disappointed with the movie itself. I thought it was very good. What I was disappointed with was the fact that this movie that the toys & cartoon that I loved as a kid I was not able to share with my almost 10 year old son due to the constant innuendos.
I really don't understand why they had to go on and on with it. Transformers was meant to be for a young audience and yet they made it completely inappropriate for kids. It really made no sense to me why they had to go in that direction. I am not bothered by the innuendos, but I am bothered that it was in what should have been a kids movie.
Thanks Michael Bay for ruining what should have been a great father and son movie.

Must See More Than Once

This is the movie of the year and Heath Ledger deserves an Oscar for his performance as the Joker. It is a movie that you need to go and see more than once, because it is that good.
