This movie was every bit of PG-13, not sure that my nine year old didn't catch all of the undertones. Seems it had more profanity than the first movie. Other than that, it was action packed and humorous just like the first one. It is two and a half hours long, kinda felt like the fight scene at the end went on and on. Wouldn't recommend this movie for younger children.

LOVED the first transformers, and I gave everything I had last night to try and love this one as well, but it was just tough. The effects were incredible, as usual. But the plot didnt flow well, and the story just didnt seem to be as original as the first movie. Also they kinda "Jar-Jar binks-d" it a little bit with the addition of a few comedic transformers. They didnt do their homework as far as military technology, and REALLY didnt do their homework when the story took a turn into egyptian geography and history, which for an Egyptian history buff like me, is kinda a big deal.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Honest to god. I didn't expect much, but seriously? Between the ridiculous and racist autobot twins (who knew Michael Bay would try to resurrect Minstrel Shows!), the horrifying acting that was supposed to represent love between Shiah LeBouf and Megan Fox, and the blatant ripoff of moments from Star Wars (the "my master scene with the Fallen??? ) , Terminator (the robot chick attacking the car?), and a host of other epics from the 90sand 2000s, TF: RotF was just one big piece of ridiculous.

I could not wait to see this movie, my 3 yr old grandson and I have watched the 1st one over and over, I took him to see this one and he never moved and neither did I. It is awesome, I will go see it again. It moves fast and the special effects are crazy.Can't wait for the 3rd one to come out.

The movie was fantastic -- better than the first for sure - funny in ways I wasn't expecting and the action was non-stop. Seriously - go see it in the theaters - you won't be disappointed. The sound was great and the eye candy was plentiful in more ways than one.
Totally worth it - will probably see it again.

I really enjoyed this movie. Saw it twice. The 1st time was a little overwhelming because of all the action, but the 2nd time around, loved it even more. Since there was too much going on, it was difficult to catch all the little details and you are just wrapped up into the special effects, etc. I recommend seeing it 3 times!

This movie not only was a great all around movie, but the acting and effects were incredible! It has a comedic touch to it, which makes it that much better!! I think its a great story it has action, love, drama and comedy in one movie you cant ask for something better! If you liked the first one, you will LOVE this one! The first Transformers did not try too hard to please the preteens and crossed over to be a movie adults would like. This sequel was one stupid joke after another. Dogs humping dogs; tiny, annoying robots humping legs; stupid parents; and ridiculous posing by under-sexed girls makes this movie hard to feel comfortable sitting in the theater to watch.

TF2 was in my opinion even better than the first. That being said I wouldn't recommend it to someone out of its target audience. This is a fun, popcorn, balls to the wall summer blockbuster. Its everything you expect from the master of the summer movie Micheal Bay. The action is non stop, the laughs keep coming and Megan Fox enough said already. PS the Twins steal the show

This was definately a good movie. Saw it opening day. I was a little leary after reading the reviews, like my local paper only gave it 1.5 stars. I thought it was very entertaining. Yes it is a little on the long side, but it keeps your attention. Looking forward to TF3 (Hopefully).

In a attempt to make the film bigger, better, and more mind-blowing then then its predeccesor, Bay has removed much of what made the original movie so charming. What is left is a drawn out, often agonizing film, filled with in-poor-taste humor that fails to realize the point where it becomes no-longer welcome.
Bay has mistakenly drawn the focus away from the real stars of the movie, the robots themselves. There is real opporunity to explore the new Autobot allies (some of which are not even named within the movie) and their relationships with their military comrades, and their adaptation to existence on Earth. Bay chooses to ignore this, and instead dedicate copious amounts of time to Sam and Mikaela's wooden and unnatural relationship.

There was absolutely no character development to speak of. I could have done without the two dogs humping each other and the small robot dry humping Meagan Fox’s leg. Also the twin robots were annoying and distracting. It was good in some spots and worse in others. I also can’t understand how Tyrese Gibson, who reprises his role as an Air Force sergeant, is promoted from a Technical Sergeant (E-6) to a Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) in 2 years. It’s just not done. The military advisor (if they had one) really blew it. It’s the little things that stand out and take away from the movie. If you like non-stop action with never ending explosions and no plot, you’ll love it. Otherwise wait for the dvd to come out.

For those of us who love Optimus Prime - this movie ROCKS and features him a lot. For those of us who could care less for T & A and too much swearing, this movie sucks. It's got Michal Bay's signature all over it (lots of things blowing up, etc) and some really good scenes. Not bad for the second installment and I will go see it again - but I liked the first one more.

Don't believe the critics. TF2 had at least as much story as the first movie did. Of course the effects were amazing, and so were the fight scenes, which were, as reported, plentifull. Some say it was too long, I'd say it was just right. The story advanced at a good pace, and the action didn't get boring.
Trust me, you are going to love this movie. I heard it had very bad ratings on rotten tomatoes as well. At least early reports said so. My guess is people who hate the Transformers movies for one reason or another rushed review sites to slander the movies. It worked as many of my friends said they didnt want to see it. I hope to change their minds!

This movie was definitely funnier than I expected. The first one had spots of humor that would make you giggle and move on to the action scenes. Transformers Revenge of the Fallen definitely has all the action packed drama, explosions and special effects you could want but be ready to laugh your bum off also. So many laugh out loud moments that almost make you not miss the death defyin scenes. Go see it....multiple times if you can!!!
