Good for adults and middle school + aged kids. Would not take my 10 and 7 year old kids due to innapropriate material a lot of swearing.

Very bad acting , very cheesy characters , great special effects , all add up to one thing ...a summer blockbuster . It's not really really rotten and if you want to escape reality for a few hours give it a try.

This was a great movie, make sure to listen for all of the hidden humor. There was a bit of bad language during the movie, but the action over shadows that it most cases.

i took my grandkids and although i thought the language was a little rough for a 6 year old and a couple of the raunchy robot scenes inappropriate for a film directed primarily for kids, it was still one of the best films of the last few years.

I thought it was a very entertaining movie. I took my 9 year old son and he loved it. There was some swearing in the movie but if your kids know right from wrong-not a problem. I give it thumbs up!

Note the rating of the film. It was rated that way due to the language and content. If you don't want your child to be subjected to that sort of material, then don't take them. Plain and simple. Stop complaining!!!
I do agree that some of the overtones could have been cut, but we went to see the action, and it didn't let us down in the least!! I believe this was just as good as the first and I'm looking forward to it coming out on BlueRay so we can pump up our surround sound!!

I don't know what all the critics were b*tching about. This movie had everything an action movie can have. More Optimus Prime, more and better robot fights. The whole theater was screaming and laughing the whole way. GREAT MOVIE EXPERINCE just like the first one. I SAW THIS MOVIE TWICE JUST FOR THE EXPERIENCE OF WATCHING IT WITH THE CROWD, CHEERING, CLAPPING AND LAUGHING ALL THE WAY. This movie makes you remember why you like Transformers. Characters, storyline, dialogue and coherence are all pretty good for Pyrotechnic action film.
Every thing you see is there for one reason: to GIVE YOU A GOOD TIME.

...because there are better things you could be doing this summer than spending almost 3 hours watching this 'supposed' summer blockbuster. Don't get me wrong, it has it's moments, it's exciting, and they really did do better this time around with the CGI.
I actually enjoyed the first quite a bit more, but this one they really strayed. The twin-bots everyone seems to like, as where I thought they were completely uneeded. The only really decent dialogued scene was with Prime in the hangar trying to defend the Autobots right to be on earth. Bottom line is they really dumbed this one down...was it to relate to the audience? If so, then they lost quite a few fans.

My family enjoyed this movie as much as the first. I personally could have done w/o the extra inappropriate language and adult content, but overall a good film. This one will be added to my Transformers movie collection. Keep'em comin'.

I was not bored at all during the entire movie. It had everything I expected and then some. Of course, this time around, there was more cheesiness with the romance between the young couple, but that was expected. The graphics were amazing and the comedy made the movie that much more enjoyable. I'd go see it again and probably will.

My son and I really enjoyed the movie but he is 8 years old and I thought there was a lot of bad language for the target audience. Because they have the toys in the kid’s meals at burger king and all the toys at Toys R Us I thought the movie would be clean like the first one. I was sadly mistaken. Maybe they should let the action and adventure sell the movie and leave the bad language on the cutting floor. I would give it 5 stars if the language wasn't so bad.

I really didn't like the pointless clips of the dogs humping or the robot humping megean fox either, who by the way had more lips and less acting. Her character seemed kind of flaky to me and I thought she was pretty good last time. I think this movie was a bit long and not necessary but I don't regret going to see it, the first one was better.

The film over shadowed the first film by far, ILM curtsey of the special effects did a monumental job this time around. The Robots were there in all their glory, with a lot of new additions on both sides.
The twins were pretty funny with the banter back and fourth, however their were to many Transformers that were not introduced, and you would have only known them by being along time fan. The plot felt rushed at times, with no real reason to be there except to blot out the sun! Overall it's a fun film.

Very disappointed and embarassed. The crude jokes, foul language and s-xual content ruined it. As far as the quality of the plot, cinematography, or acting...who cares? My son just wanted to see transforming robots. What we got was pornographic. It's definitely not a family movie! I will not be picking it up on DVD.
