I read the reviews from the critics before watching it. Its not anything like they have said. it was fun watching it. If anyone is looking for looking for intelligent plot or great expressions from the robots to look at they wont find it. It was not different from what i have expected before reading the reviews. I learned that critics have a very one sided look at the film, just trying to weigh each individual departments. Overall you would not be bored at all watching this film unless you hate the concept of transforming.

Transformers 2 was amazing we took our 12 year old daughter and she loved it was so excited for the third one to come out. This movie is definitly worth seeing. You should never believe what critics say go see the movie and make your own review of it. We wil be going to see this again and buying it on dvd.

I really loved this movie! I admit I am a bit of a special fx geek but this movie was amazing. As a mechanical engineer I love watching the Transformers do what they do best: transform!!! Also, the noises and sounds as well as the tracks for the movie are superb. For an action movie I even enjoyed the plot. There were even some emotions in it!!! All in all, a great movie and well worth the money to experience in a theater cause no one else around you wants to watch it as loud as you do at home.....sigh

If you are looking for Citizen Kane, don't watch this movie. This film is about providing mindless robot violence entertainment. And boy, does it deliver that in spades.
Great fight scenes with the robots and the best FX and digital animation on screen since Pirates III. There is one story line: stop the fallen at any cost. That is plenty for me, I just want to see some action!
Great action movie. Not as visually stunning as Star Trek, but plenty of fun.

People need to get over the fact that there is adult humor in this movie and "racial references"as they are calling it.It was a great movie and the special affects were way better in this one then the 1st.Being not rated G or PG You should expect it to not be a childrens or family movie.C mon people.Optimus kicked major butt in this movie and the twins were hilarious.I will say the movie is alittle slow in the beginning.However...it was still awesome.

My family and I (which includes a 6 yr old) went to see the first Transformers movie and loved every moment of it. However, I think the second go-round was overly secual and vulgar...the cursing just didn't stop. I think this time the movie was more tacky than anything...I wish I'd waited for it to come out on DVD. Bottom line: it''s okay, but probably not what you'd hope for and definitely a bit more than it's PG-13 rating suggests.

Transformers 2 is not going to be mistaken for great cinema. But, if you're looking for a big screen, summer movie experience, it's not too bad. The negative reviews - poor plot, it's all bots and bods, no character development, wooden acting, etc. are valid to a point. But it's still entertaining.
The mother actually has a few extremely funny scenes, and all of the characters - other than the soldiers, have some decent moments.
I enjoyed the movie - in spite of the obvious flaws. It's big, it's loud and it's entertaining. What more do you want froma summer flick?

I thought Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was good. I think it was definitely better than the critics said. The special effects were great, so of course the action scenes were really good. I wish they could have shaved off about 20 to 30 minutes off though.

I have read some of the other reviews on this movie on here. One word.....idiots. The two and a hlaf hours flew by. This movie is above and beyond better than the first, and I loved that one. It has action, humor and suspense, what more does a summer blockbuster need? For those of you that are poopooing Megan Fox's daisey dukes, I've seen far worse things in family films to say this one is not good for all ages. Not only do I say go see it, I say go see it twice. Awesome movie here!

I enjoyed Transformers for what it was: a huge, summer blockbuster full of machines blowing up and fighting! No more; no less. I didn't go expecting huge mountains of dialogue, and I wasn't disappointed.
I didn't think this movie would give me serious food for thought that I could discuss around the water cooler the next day; I went to be transported into another world where stars never get blown up, the good guys always win, and the female star is over-the-top gorgeous! (Although even my 20-year-old son did mention that the gratuitous shot of Megan Fox in daisy-dukes straddling a motorcyle might have been too much!)
All in all, we enjoyed the movie, stayed awake, and had a fun family outing. What more could we want?

I read all the reviews, and have seen the movie twice...I just don't understand what the critics were griping about. This was a very entertaining movie that even at 2.5 hours flew by quickly! The action had me sitting on the edge of my seat, and the occasional humor was hysterical! The box office numbers say it all...definitely can't wait until it comes out on DVD, this is a must add to your video collection, and a dollar well spent for your entertainment dollar.

M Bay & ILM delivered on the special effects and details. I can't recommend the movie merely on those grounds. Started out as a great storyline, and had great potential. Went to see Transformers, not dogs dominating each other or to hear the overly saturated adult themes. Way overboard there. I believe cussing is up over the first one, too. NOT recommended for family viewing, unfortunately.

After watching 45 minutes, I casually glanced down at my watch thinking okay... this has to be atleast half over. BOY was I wrong! PAINSTAKINGLY slow, even the visually awesome transformer fighting scenes couldn't save this from being one of the worst movies I have seen in a LONG time. Such a disappointment after the first! Plus, it was so much cheesier, with horrible dialogue. Basically, just way too long with not enough to keep you interested. And even megan fox's awesome looks can't save her cliche, listless performance.

Did we have to hear multiple references to the male sack? Please, the transformers on their own would have been a fabulous movie but when you had to add the unecessary remarks about the male anatomy and the robots calling each other another word for cats- that was disgusting and uncalled for - would you want your 13 year old daughter hearing this stuff? you ruined it for me. ** editing remarks** it's funny that i could not use the SAME words in this review that the movie used so I had to go back and change them - none of which were profanity, one being the specific name of the male anatomy and the other a name sometimes used to call a cat or a part of the womans anatomy - what kind of message are we sending?

This new transformers movie was very entertaining, funny and packed full of action. The lover story between the two main characters was not too overbearing either. The problem I had came during the fight scenes between the transformers, at times I couldn't figure out who was the good transformer from who was the bad one because everything was going so fast. I do recommend that you go see it though.

The action was well done- it was equivalent with the first one, but this one included all sorts of trash. From the name calling to the anatomical references- s*xual content was everywhere. Considering this movie is based on a TV show resulting from kid's toys- I thought it was out of place, extraneous, and in poor taste.

I loved this movie! I was able to recognize plot themes from both the animated Transformers movie and the comic books. I also love that they turned a very annoying character from season 3 (namely Wheelie) into a very funny form of comic relief. While I'm more comfortable calling Jetfire "Skyfire", I loved how they handled his being on earth before the other Autobots. My favorite part was watching Simmons calling in the railgun strike on Devastator and the inclusion of the Constructicons! Overall, I hope there's a third movie!

Wow. I set the bar low, I figured as long as it had giant robots it'd be fine. It was horrible. Not only was it completely devoid of a coherent story it was racist and offensive. As my friend said, "it's like it was written by children." Dumb children I might add.

Keep in mind that transformers Rise of the Fallen is a sequel, based on a Cartoon, that was based on a Toy.
Like it’s predecessor, this film is more about action, and pushing the envelope of CG and animation, then it is about a cohesive storyline. Like Many I was mesmerized with the fluid motion, and great cinematography we all have to come to know from previous Michael Bay works. If you want a movie with a contiguous storyline, and Shakespearian lines, look elsewhere. If you want to take you mind off of things, and get fully absorbed in a colorful, contemporary action flix that will satiate even the most ravenous robotic carnivore, then this is most certainly the film for you.

The first words out of my mouth when the movie was over summed it up best I think. "That was unncessarily long". It was a good movie but to much fluff reduced its score in my eyes. I expected that I would love the movie so much that it would be the first movie I visited more than once in a long time. After seeing it now I know that although I was glad to see it in theatre that I will wait until DVD to see it again.
