The movie is slow for quite some time. Then, it picks up, but there's absolutely no suspense. It just drifts. Then, there's an unexpected twist, but it isn't exciting, it just keeps drifting. It has it's funny moments, but is just too dull for me.

Tiny and Amy never disappoint me when they are onscreen together! The funniest parts are mostly in the previews, but I found the whole thing amusing nonetheless. The entire theatre laughed out loud in several parts. I will be adding this to my DVD collection. Don't be fooled, surrogates aren't like that in real life!

The movie went in a whole different direction than you are lead to believe from the trailer. It started out pretty funny, but then got a little more serious. Unfortunately, and this has nothing to do with the quality of the movie, much of the facts regarding the surrogacy were completely far-fetched. But it was fine for a few good laughs. I would recommend it as a rental, but not necessarily at the theater.

My wife and I got a kick out of this movie primarily because the cast is made up exclusively of Saturday Night Live members whom we love. So if you're a fan of SNL, you'll probably like this one. It's definitely a chick flick, but it's a peg down from "Knocked Up" or "Juno," insofar as baby movies are concerned. In our book, it's better than 3 stars, but comes up shy of a 4-star rating. So if you go to it expecting to see an almost-great movie (with a happy ending) that earns its share of honest laughs, you won't be disappointed.

The only reason why i wouldn;t give it 5 stars is because its not an EPIC film, like a braveheart, or Walk the Line, but it was definitely worth the price of the ticket to see it

While the trailer gave away most of the funniest moments, they are still funny to watch in context. I laughed out loud several times. There are moments with Steve Martin that are awkwardly hilarious and Tina Fey and Amy Poehler delivered as expected. I concur with previous review. This movie was cute & entertaining, but most of the best laughs were shown in the preview. The Amy Poehler character's boyfriend was a nuisance I could have lived without. This movie is not the non-stop laugh riot that people keep writing about. It would have been if Tina Fey had written it. BUT, it is adorable and certainly has some VERY funny moments. The man next to me laughed only once, but at the end said "That was REALLY good!" It is nice to see two talented women carry a film with nothing gratuitous. BRAVO!
