This is one of those movies that when you sit in a fairly crowded theatre, there are alot of outloud giggles and laughing throughout the show. There was a bit more Male nudity than I think I needed, but women will say us guys need to live with that since there are so many female nudity scenes in most other R rated movies. I found the humor to be funny, the movie to be a tad bit predictable, but all in all it was good acting. I give it 5/5 Stars, because of how much I personally laughed, and just how much the audience at my theatre seemed to get into the movie.

Finally a funny movie with a realistic view of what us guys really go through. The director and producer of this movie got it right! I'm going to buy this one as soon as it comes out on dvd. Definitely a must see, especially if you have ever been broken up with guys. Shows how it really is, and what us guys go through. As a bonus, the gal from that 70's show is in it and she is smokin hot in a bikini.

Jason Segel in this reminds me of a Vince Vaughn when he did Wedding Crashers, yet in a movie way better than The Break Up! A little more cheap shots of his private part than I would want but hey thats a R comedy movie for you. It was R wasn't it? In general a funny flick. Jason Segel is a funny guy but his constantly weeping, wimpy character and ridiculous vampire theme kept me from rating it higher. the brother in law was great but the star of the show was the english rock star ... HIllarious!! Again I took a star away for creating such a wimpy weeping character and for the unfunny and ridiculous vampire stuff. I took another star away because the movie dragged on in a lot of spots. Having said that, there were also many spotty hilarious moments .

Definitely good for anyone with a sense of humor. A tad crude at times, but nothing that an average adult would find too offensive. The actor who plays the Brit is awesome and a great addition to the usual Judd Apatow ensemble.

So funny, I'm a huge Apatow fan and this was definitely one of the best. Jason Segel is hilarious on How I Met Your Mother and this was very impressive as a first time writer. Definitely should see it!

This was a great Movie, I'm glad that the actors report that there was full frontal nudity of the main character I found it all very very funny. Laughed pretty much through it the whole movie. I loved all characters even the newlywed couple. I did recommend this to my friends @ work.

Of the movies that this new Hollywood "crew" has developed, I enjoyed Forgetting Sarah Marshall the most! I feel like the writing, the plot line, the character development, and the intelligence of the comedy has risen to a new more enjoyable level with this latest feature. Go see it, even if you only like Knocked Up and Superbad, I think this movie is a notch above.

I bought tickets for me and my boyfriend to see this movie Saturday night. I have to say, this is the best movie I have seen in a long time. It kept me and my boyfriend laughing until the very end. I enjoyed this movie so much I raved about it at work today. You will NOT waste your money if you go see this one. I quite enjoyed the story line and I can totally relate to the characters. The GF and I thought this movie was the best yet from the Apatow bunch. For us, it was very true to life in the every relationships have its give and take. We have also argued over some of the same things that are at the basis of Peter and Sarah' s relationship.
I would recommend it for any couple, singles or married people out there.
P.S. It is really scary that I do many of the same things as Peter without all the crying.

This was a really fun movie. I enjoyed it start to finish. It was well directed, the actors were funny but not over the top, and it well written. I loved 40 year Old Virgin, liked Superbad and hated ( yes hated) Knocked Up, so it was a nice surprise to laugh my way through this film.

This movie was ridiculously funny! I was laughing almost the entire time! I love the fact that Jason Segel played his character so well...such a nice flow to the film since he pretty much wrote the character to fit his comfort zone in acting. If you have ever watched Freaks and Geeks you see that he is an amazing actor. Young at heart and full of life (and very comfortable with his body)! I would recommend this movie...not only am I a true J. Apatow fan but throw in some Jason Segel in there and i'm SOLD! Classic Romantic Comedy with a great modern twist!

After getting dumped by his TV star girlfriend, the aforementioned Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell), composer Peter Bretter (Jason Segel) takes the advice of his hilarious step-brother Brian (Bill Hader) and goes on a vacation to Hawaii, where he inadvertently runs into his ex-girlfriend and her new lover, a flamboyant if not complete insane and sociopathic rock-star Aldous Snow (Russell Brand). With the assistance of the hotels hostess, Rachel Jansen (Mila Kunis) Peter clumsily tries to get his life back in order, and hilarity ensues. Already being a huge fan of movies like the 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked-Up and Superbad, I was more than ready to watch (and laugh and laugh) at Sarah Marshall, funny thing is for the first ten to twenty minutes that laughs were pretty scarce. But realizing that this movie was in upward of two hours I stuck with it and wasn’t disappointed. Fair enough FSM didn’t provide me with the straight out uncontrollable belly laughs that was the standard with other Judd Apatow fare, but it had the important elements in it that made it as memorable. It doesn’t lack the painfully awkward situations but doesn’t take them over the top, like the sin committed by so many Ben Stiller films. Instead it dances around the line, at one time making you laugh out loud and at other times making you cringe and squirm in your seat when you see a character take an action that you realize is all together wrong but also very human. In fact at one time the entire audience let out a collective groan when Peter falls for a trap so many guys fall for when their ex’s…well wouldn’t want to spoil it for you. What that groan conveyed to me was that the audience was fervently involved in the movie and we were no longer just watching a movie that was “brought to you by the same guys that did – take your pick” instead we were actually viewing these characters for who they were on the screen. What was even more impressive to me were the risks that the actors were willing to take to make this story plausible and relatable. Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis both bared their fair share of nudeness, not a means for the guys in the audience to ogle their parts but as a way to reinforce that what we were watching could honestly happen. And Segel’s very large contribution (I mean that act NOT the size of…oh nevermind) of being shown completely in the buff for extended periods of time demonstrated that he was committed to this film and really ready to take chances that would make the audience laugh, which they did MANY times. But it wasn’t just the main stars of this film that made it worth the nearly two hours that I spent watching it. Peter’s step-brother, played brilliantly by Bill Hader is at the top of his game providing us with a constant barrage of razor sharp wit that makes us laugh but at the same time blush because as anybody who has been dumped has heard what come out of his mouth before. And it still a mystery to me that they were able to make this movie at all with Russell Brand on the set. His ability to make the audience belt out huge bolts of laughter just with a slight phrase or glance must have given the cast and crew fits when they had to keep their mouths shut during a take. Overall if your willing to stick it out and realize that you’re not only watching a comedy “from the same guys that brought you…” that you’re also watching a romantic comedy (and on a personal note, one that hits really close to home for me) you will appreciate this films to be at one times poignant and subtle and at other times be flat out gross and funny. And it is well worth the money to sit in the dark with a couple dozen strangers and laugh together…and cringe together.

While the lead character did wallow in a lot of self pity at the beginning which got to be a bit annoying, he did eventually break out and the comedy that followed was great. The ensemble cast was also good along with the 'new' boyfriend who was terrific. Overall, a very funny movie.

The movie was well plotted, well acted and mostly very funny. The supporting characters were the usual Apatow stereotypes, but the main characters went considerably deeper and beyond. The ending was especially imaginative and delightful. Even my perennially hard-to-please husband enjoyed himself.

Sure, the humor makes you wonder if perhaps the whole human race has decended to the likes of snickering when full-frontal male nudity is shown on screen. But I thought that the entire concept was shown with an almost endearing uncomfortable nature, and the dumb humor wasn't as painful as it could have been. No, do not expect any mind-blowing new character concepts, or a plot you never saw coming in a thousand years. But do expect plenty of chuckles. And really, did the makers of this movie promise us an intelligent evening at the movies? I think they delivered exactly what they promised.

The movie was pretty good. There were some really funny moments and some that tried too hard to get a laugh. I honestly have to say that it won’t be one of the forgettable movies I have seen so far this year. Lots of good laughs and some unexpected moments made this movie worth a matinee on Sunday morning. One thing that stands out the most is the graphic nudity of Jason Segel at the beginning of the movie. It didn’t bother me at all but after the movie talking to my friends; it seemed many of them had trouble seeing him naked. It has been a long time since a movie showed so much male nudity and it was a surprise for some and uncomfortable for others. I think it may have to do with the dumbing down of movies lately - post Janet Jackson Super Bowl mishap!
