this movie made you terrified, happy, and sad all at the same time! The acting was great and it did NOT feel like 2 and a half hours long! potter fans will be VERY HAPPY!!!

I was so disappointed with HP6, but this one was so much better! They actually included all the necessary events, and even did a good job =) Definitely a good idea to have it broken into two parts

I thought that this movie was really really fantastic! It has a good cut-off point and it is right on cue with the books! Harry Potter fans will certainly be pleased with it. I would recommend this movie to ANYONE who is willing to go!!!!1

This has got to be one of the best movies of all time. It followed the book so closely it was tremendous. Definitely worth waiting in line for hours to get the front seat in the theater!

So, this is by far the best movie in the series so far. I still haven't figured out words to describe it though. Sometime I will, but I'd say that if you love Harry Potter, you must go, especially if you've read the books because this stays fairly true to the story. I do have to say that the movie creates a lot of exposition, but at the same time, you don't want the movie to end. (Methinks this was a way for the writers to insure that you go back to see the final installment haha). So, yeah, definitely go see it :D

I had a great night going to see this movie with "Luna" and "Ginny" (my friends were dressed up as them. lol) But out of all the Harry Potter movies this one is my least favorite. It was honestly just kind of boring (except for the 5 actions parts which were amazing.) I haven't read the books, and I'm told by my legit Harry Potter nerd friend that its like that for the first half of the book. So I guess it was good then. :)
Can't WAIT for part 2.

Definantly will not be disappointed. It had enough action and story to back it up. Questions get answered. New tasks unfold. Secrets revealed as well while new ones arise. As a side note they ended the movie in a descent place. This way you have some closure until part II.

The first half of The Deathly Hallows was a thrill. I can not wait to see the conclusion of the book.
As usual certain things have to skipped over for length, even on a 2 1/2 hour movie that still has a 2nd half. I do believe though several scene could have been extended just a minute or two to include very important and touching moments. These would include details about the loss of certain characters, and other characters reactions to the losses.
One change I saw as pointless was the changing of the way the message at the wedding appeared. The digital effects could have been just as easily done as the author wrote them.
Over all though this is a cann't miss.

HP7 did not dissappoint. It is everything the studio and director promised it would be. As a hardcore fan of the HP books, I thought they followed the storyline better here than any other movie before it. Readers will not be disappointed. The cliffhanger is perfectly place and there are some very sad parts. I'm impressed by the performances of Radcliffe, Watson, and Grint especially.

Fantastic storyline that should get even better in part two. Action, comedy, and adventure like only Harry Potter could bring! Scary parts matched with perfect light comedy and the plot thickens the further you dive in! Must see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1).

I loved this movie! I thought it had all the major parts from the first half of the book. Of course there is always room for improvement and parts of the book that I personally enjoyed but I thought they did a great job of it. The only thing I would have liked to see done better was Harry's trip to Godric's Hollow. I thought that they could have spent a couple more minutes on it since its such an important place to Harry. Besides that, i loved it! It was a perfect lead up to Part 2. Can't wait for July!!

What a great start to the movie about the final book. As a fan of the book I was very happy with how they did their best to stick with the book. Of course, making the choice to go with a 2 part movie was a wise choice to be able to do that.
I think that they left part 1 off at a good point and leaves you wanting for more. Part 2 can't come soon enough.

HP7 Pt. 1 was phenomenal! Great action, great drama, a little suspense and thriller feel thrown in for good measure topped off with warm, witty humor, and a touch of sadness to balance it all out. All baked in about 2 1/2 hours that flowed wonderfully.
Absolutely a must see for every movie fan let alone HP fans!
