Definantly will not be disappointed. It had enough action and story to back it up. Questions get answered. New tasks unfold. Secrets revealed as well while new ones arise. As a side note they ended the movie in a descent place. This way you have some closure until part II.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie was amazing! I'm not a comic book fanatic, and most movies made from them are just okay. This movie was Superb. It had a good story line that was easy to follow. The effects were mind blowing and not just from things blowing up. The sly Tony Stark character was like an extention of Robert Downey Jr.'s personality. I agree with the other critics, this movie single-handedly saved his career. If you don't like him you at least get to see him go smack into a wall a few times, be shot at, and blown up.
