One of the years funniest movies. Not only did my three kids ages 12 to 15 love it, but my wife and myself were laughing out loud throughout the show. I would definatley recomend this movie to anyone any age.

Not a good movie. The star creates all kinds of confusion and delay, chaos and catastrophies, and then is treated as a hero because he finally begins to do something about it. Not a character trait I would want to instill in my grandchildren.

I never read the book as a child but my husband did and he loved it. My son loved it as well. I was surpised by one of the voices in the movie and he was hilarious. I don't want to give the voice away for those who have not seen the movie.

Very funny show! My kids, 6 and 10, both enjoyed it through the whole movie. Their grandmother liked it too!
Liked the storyline about how being smart is okay, even if other kids make fun of you. Especially like how the girl learns that it's not okay to hide your intelligence!
The other part that caught my eye was about the food allergies... a teachable moment, I wish they would have had the character have her life-saving Epi-Pen with her, as that would send a good message to other kids with life-threatening food allergies. All in all, I was pleased to see the issue of a smart, adventurous kid who has food allergies. Thanks for that!
Definitely a good movie, I liked it and so kids my kids!

The movie was good for the kids. They laughed and enjoyed it. The previews seemed to me that it would have been better though. I took the kids to see it in 2D because they never keep the glasses on, so maybe if I were to watch it in 3D, I may have enjoyed it a bit more. Overall it was good.

This was an OK movie, my 5 year old got bored almost at the end, and i noticed 1-2 other kids bored as well (the room was pretty empty, we were watching the movie at 3:15pm. The movie was pretty good but based on critic reviews, I was expecting belly busting laughs. That didn't happen. It's a very good movie for girls...teaching that dumbing down isn't worth it.

While the premise for this movie is different from the book, and the characters are made to match the premise, this movie is frenetically full of gags (and almost never loses a chance to reuse anything already introduced).
The one problem that I had with this movie is the use of scatological jokes and imagery (although except for the entrance/exit to the lab they are usually fleeting).
I laughed out loud many times, and was quite taken with the references to 'standard' disaster movies.

My boyfriend and I are both in our twenties, so we're not exactly the target demographic for this movie, but MAN! We laughed hysterically almost the entire time we were in the theater! It was perfect - not too long, and extremely witty. Some jokes were directed to adults, but there was a little girl sitting next to us who was cracking up the whole time too. Quite simply, it was one of the more entertaining nights we've spent at the movies lately! Also, I was a huge fan of the book as a kid, and there were scenes that stayed true in imagery to the book (i.e. the jello sun, the hot dog in the chimney). It was just a great movie all-around, and will definitely be purchasing it on Blu-Ray when it comes out!

I took 5 little girls to see this movie ranging from 6 to 9 years old as an alternative to a traditional birthday party and they loved it! The movie held their attention throughout and there was very little chatting. I could sit through it again with another group of children as well.

Cloudy was one of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. The characters were hilarious. The details in the 3D version were insane. I was laughing to tears in a few parts. The only slow part was towards then end but by that point I was entranced in the movie and I didn't care. Kept myself, my husband and our 4 kids, ages one year to 10, highly entertained.

I saw CWACOM with my wife, 7-year-old daughter, and 3.5-year-old twins. My son laughed out loud the most, but we all found something to love about this film. Smart, thoughtful, with layers of messagees, but none too heavy-handed. This is a slightly different Chewandswallow than in the book, but very respectfully inspired by one of my kid's favorites--they were neither confused or bothered by the differences. I would see it again and recommend it to all. I look forward to the day it can be a part of the family collection, but worth a trip to the theater, especially if you like the 3-D (we see it flat for the little ones--3-D glasses are too much for the toddlers.)

I took my 9yr old and my 4yr old, my 9yr old had a great time! There were moments were we would laugh out loud and parts where we were just smiling thru it! My 4yr old was a little bored half way thru but he got interested it it again towards the end. I will buy it on DVD.

This was a smart, funny movie that held the attention of 5 and 7 year old boys, a 13 year old girl and a 45 year old adult. There was some funny adult humor, but it was clean and not so out there that I got a "mommy, what does that mean" from the boys. All in all, good food fun for everyone!

Took our 5 year old son, we were all very entertained the whole time, has some adult humor which is always nice, jokes that only me and the hubby get, it was SO SO cute, we saw the regular, non 3-d version and it was simply delightful.

My son has been counting down the days to see this movie. He even took to book out of the library to read about it. I begged other parent to come endure my torture of another kids flick. However, I was pleasantly surprised! My son thought it was everything he wanted it to be. He enjoyed it tremendously. I planned to nap, but stayed awake and even laughed out loud a few times. Loved Ben Bratt as the cameraman/doctor/pilot! It is decent and worth the time for your child.

This is a smart, well-crafted movie with a nice message and some very funny moments. My wife called it "very cute". My 5 yr old daughter sat mesmerized and laughed at the goofier moments (of which there are many!), and loved the little monkey character. Even my 14 yr old stepson loved it. Go see this one and put a smile on your face for the rest of the day.
