It was great to see Indiana Jones back in action again! I took my 7 and 8 year old granddaughters to see this but probably should have left the youngest one at home. She spent most of the movie with her face hidden under my jacket! I liked the fact that the door was left open for Shia LaBeouf to continue the legacy.

Being a fan of Indy since childhood, I was very excited to see this new movie. I was not disappointed. The action is fantastic, the humor is great, and the story is something a little different than the rest of the Indy movies. It's understandable that that specific route was taken, considering what they were working with. There is still a lot of history to learn as well and Indy is great at telling it. Overall, it was worth seeing in the theater the first weekend. I am very satisfied.

If you loved the first three movies, you will have fun at this one, too. It's not as good, but it was great to see Indy and the hijinks he gets into. I wish there had been fewer characters so more time could have been given to Indy, Mutt and Cate Blanchett's character. Don't think too much about the story or the dialogue, just go along for the ride.

This movie is exactly what I expected when we bought the tickets. ACTION ACTION ACTION!!!The action begun almost immediatly and never stopped. Yes there are unbelievable scenes, but that is what Indiana Jones is about. The Excitement and action in a unbelievable situation is the Indiana Jone mantra. A touch of humor between characters rounds out the movie.

I thought the film was fast-paced and entertaining, with all the stunts, exotic locals and wry quips intact. In some ways, it was like catching up with old friends you haven't seen in far too many years. And Shia LaBeouf as Mutt was a clever addition to the cast.
Some of the plot was a bit unexpected but it suited the time period perfectly, IMO. My husband and 21-year-old daughter loved the film too. Glad to see the return to the franchise turned out so well.

I celebrated my 42nd Birthday seeing this movie. Obviously, I was around when the originals came out, and I have a true appreciation for this stuff! I can watch these movies over and over again! In my opionion, the movie started a little slowly, but I quickly found myself enjoying the plot and the humor. Definitely fun seeing Karen Allen again. I'm looking forward to the next one.

I absolutely loved this movie! I grew up watching the Indiana Jones series and was anxiously awaiting this one. I was scared that my expectation would exceed the actual movie, but I had no need to worry. It was action packed and full of great fx that I have come to expect from Spielberg. So it wasn't all that believable. The action was great, the story made sense, and the characters were interesting. I really liked Cate Blanchett in her role, and Shia LaBeouf is clearly a star on the rise -- he seemingly can do no wrong. The effects were mostly up to par, if occasionally cheesy. If you want to dislike the movie, there's plenty to fault. However, if you want to enjoy the movie, you really can. It's basically up to you.

I was really excited to see this movie. Its been years since a Indy movie has been out. I was pretty disappointed this time. Not sticking to the ancient stories of the usual Indy movies. I think Speilberg missed the boat completely. If he couldn't think of anything better he should of waited to make a better movie. Watch it and see what you think.

If you liked the previous Indy movies, then the new one delivers again. Its the best Indy movie yet. I am very selective and own very few movies to collect, but plan to purchase this CD when it comes out for my collection.

I have seen every Indy movie in the theater and Indy is kind of a family tradition. Since this movie was rumored for a long time, I was really glad when I heard that it was officially in production. To me the movie was completely Indiana Jones. The action scenes were completely 100% Indy! The style of comedy was also right in line. I liked the fact that they worked with Harrison Ford's age. They didn't try to make him the full blown action hero. Karen Allen's return was really nice. I loved the movie, and I'll probably go see it again!

Great movie but thought that the plot could have been better. The whole "x-files"-type scenario was a bit disappointing as Indy movies have always been about ancient history and myths and the introduction of sci-fi into this latest installment was a bit of a turn-off.

I was looking forward to this ever since it was first announced. I loved that they brought back Karen Allen and bringing Shia Labeouf into the mix was brilliant. The action was very good (people please remember that Indy is 20 years older so be nice) and I must admit, Harrison still looks wonderful in his Indy gear. The storyline was great up until a certain point towards the end. I know there is always some form of supernatural but it was a little out of sync for the IJ stories. If you go to see it, I'm sure you will know what part before the final scene I'm referring to. Other than that, if you do what we did, watch all three (yet again) and then go see the movie, I think you will enjoy it even more.

I thought this long awaited film was pretty good but lacking in some places. I agree that the storyline was a bit out there even though I am aware of the history of the skulls. I liked the humor and the scenes leading up to the chase scenes through the woods but from that point on I was a bit bored. I did enjoy it though and would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Indiana. I just feel it could have been a bit better. I enjoyed the new Narnia film much more.

My family was looking forward to this movie more than I was. I have to say there was a lot of action and the two hours seemed to fly by. Cate Blanchet did an excellent job and Shia LeBouf added something for the younger crowd. It was great seeing Karen Allen and Harrison Ford together again. I did not like the ending at all and thought the Crystal Skull looked like it was filled with plastic wrap or aluminum foil, very cheasy. Overall it was a good time on a rainy afternoon.

Action was as good as the old ones. Mystery-solving may be a little bit disappointing. However, they keep the quality of the series somehow. I don't expect there will be 5th episode of the series.

Perfect balance between childhood memories and modern movie making. past references were kept to a minimum, just enough to make you cheer - and just when you thought they would succumb to typical Hollywood crud, they snatched it away! Great fun movie.

This was a great movie! I loved the tie-in from the first movies, the attention to the period (early 50's I believe), the Communist paranoia that was sweeping the country at the time and the connection to Rosewell, NM. That was quite a surprise and frankly, unexpected. They were able to tie everything together pretty coherently. This one still had a strong flavor of Indiana Jones and I loved it!

Lots of fun and long overdue. I was doing the math last night after the show and realized one has to be in their mid-30's to remember seeing "Raiders" or "Temple of Doom." Someone mentioned this movie is good for boomers, and I agree, I can remember hot rods, and my brother had a '50 Ford like the one used in the opening scene (military vehicle). Lots of action, fast moving plot, no dull moments, great effects, wonderful seeing Harrison and Karen together again, Shia is cool (as always), John Hurt is cool, Cate Blanchett makes a great villianess, a must see.

One of the best Indiana Jones movie. Hopefully not the last since H.Ford is getting older as I speak. But the movie has lots of action and i especially like when they did the Nuke test at area 51 with all the 60's style.
