I think the last time I laughed that much in a theater was for Tommy Boy.

perfect balance of old and new

We went to the midnight showing and everyone I went with loved it (whether they knew the original or not). If you were on the fence, go see it - it was fantastic.

Perfect balance between childhood memories and modern movie making. past references were kept to a minimum, just enough to make you cheer - and just when you thought they would succumb to typical Hollywood crud, they snatched it away! Great fun movie.
