We enjoyed this movie, except for a few shallow emotional spots in between about Jones' son and wife and all that did not fit in very well and kind of obstructed the adventurous flow of the script. And plus they need to reduce polarising the script into a good vs bad thing so much. Other than that, it was quite entertaining and worth the bucks.

In spite of all the bad reviews we were getting we went and found movie to be pretty good. I think the fact that it was in the fifties may have cause younger viewers not to get some of it. We are older and grew up in fifties so we caught on and others in theater did also. They applauded at the end.

I saw the first 3 back in the eighties. This was classic Indian Jones movie from plot to finish. I also like they way they put a little of Christian mythology into the movie. It amazes me how directors, storywrites, etc can tie messages/mythology teachings into movies and see if the viewers will can decipher.

Sure, we were concerned - after all, Harrison Ford is getting up there in years and Indy is known for action. It was handled perfectly, they didn't pretend he hadn't aged and for all of us in the audience who are probably older than we'd like, it let us pretend we still have it too! Great adventure.

I thought that the movie was amazing! I'm a very big Indian Jones fan. However, the story was a little weird and not as believable as the other stories. This movie kept you on your seat though, and seeing Harrison Ford do some of those crazy stunts again just made me smile. I recommend anyone to this great movie.

It has been fifteen plus years since the lst Indiana Jones movie was made, and you can tell. Don't get me wrong, Harrison Ford kicks butt at his age but it would have been better maybe ten years ago. I have seen this movie twice so far and i love it. I wasn't sure how it was gonna be with so many years since the last one but it's great. Plenty of action and of course Indie's quirky sense of humor. I think they did a great job casting every one. Loved the twist regarding Shia. Great chemistry between all the characters. I highly recommend this film if your an Indiana Jones lover.

I did not like the overall concept of the movie. i thought the "artifact" that was being sought was far fetched. I also did not like the obvious cliches in the movie. There was no new interesting aspect to Jones. I thought the constant capture and escape was annoying. The end was also anti-climatic

I truly enjoyed this movie. Dr. Jones and gang are back. I hesitate a little on the alien story line, but I feel Indy is as fun and as heroic as ever. I enjoyed how the filmmakers made several references to the past Indy movies. I also enjoyed the family relationship and how Jones, Sr. is not forgotten. THe family story line is very satisfying as well as the adventure - remember it is the 50's in this film not the 30's. And yeah for Marion, a strong woman as ever.

What a shame - we were so looking forward to this movie. The whole Cate Blanchett character did not work at all. She was quite comical. The Shia LaBeouf scenes were the best. The beginning up until that part was awful, and I even found the Karen Allen storyline falling short.

The writers and producers had a chance to do something great with Indiana Jones 4, but they definitely fell short. The movie had a terrible story line, horrible unreal stunts and fights, and bad acting. We left feeling sorely disappointed and the more we thought on it, the more irritated we became! This movie does not deserve to be counted with the other Indiana Jones movies. A definite let-down!

I really enjoyed the plot, stunts and acting in the movie. I felt the stunts were appropriate for a man of his age. He was the most exciting archaeologist ever and this movie is a proper end to the adventurous part of his career. I felt he finally got the girl and he handed over the reigns to his son, who has his spirit for adventure. Those of you who didn't think that the stunts weren't believable, get a life!!

To a true Indy fan this movie was a major let down.To the new Indy generation this sets up the transition for Indy's son to take over.I tried to hang in, but about 30 minutes into the film they lost me. Where do I begin ?? The plot is weak, the acting is amatuer,a nd the action scenes were just too far fetched. As far as I'm concerned there are only three Indiana Jones films and in the last one they rode into the sun. THE END

Overall, it was excellent, but some of the unbelievable stunts make it hard to swallow. Some of them were Mission Impossible level unbelievable.

I love the original Indiana Jones movies and while this still had SOME of the same action and humor, it did not live up to my expectations. I would reccomend seeing the movie but only after it is on DVD. It is not worth the theatre price.
