I rated this movie as fair, but I still recommend seeing it as it is the final conclusion to the Indiana Jones movie series and it is a movie with brilliant special effects and visual design. I wish it would have been more about archeology and less about alternative universes, but I guess this is Indiana for the 21st Century! I loved the ending but the crystal skull just didn't do it for me.

If you are an Indiana Jones fan, as I am, you will love this movie, It has everything to love in an "Indy" film. Action, good special effects, good pacing, humor and more action. Some other reviews talked about unbelievable stunts as if the stunts in the other 3 films were believable. Come on, if your expecting believeable stunts and plot lines this is not your cup of tea. What was unbelievable was how Harrison Ford still did a lot of his own stunts. My god, he's 67. Fantastic. Anyway It's your choice. For me, I loved it. My last star was not used because of the story line, though. The only flaw, the plot was murky and unclear in places. We never got a clear explaination of why the Russians wanted the alien corpse in the beginning and how it tied to the crystal skulls. Although it was obvious they were alien in orgin. Otherwise it was a great movie. What were people expecting, An Oscar Worthy film? Please enjoy your film with the intent it was made. Sheesh!

I thought it was just a poor rehash of the earlier indie films. The story was so convoluted that it required massive dialog just to partially explain why we would care to finish watching. Technically it was impressive. But it failed at most other levels. I hope this is the last of the series. I want to be able to remember the first three fondly.

As a fan of the Indiana Jones movies, I was a bit disappointed in this movie. It could be a great movie for first time IJ watchers but for someone like me who has wished for another Indy movie for the longest time- I did not see anything better than the previous installments. The plot is the same- an artifact being searched and chased by the bad guys. In the end no one gets the prize. The actual adventure and chases were NOT THAT exciting to me.. It was a good serving of Indiana Jones... but not very filling. I can probably get more excited in watching the previous episodes.... I was expecting the Harrison Ford was going to take a back seat role in this movie and will pass the baton to his child.... but the the child in this movie doesnt have the charisma like his father.... So what are we going to expect in the next one?????

If u enjoy the new Star Wars movies, u will probably enjoy this one. The plot is not interesting, the action is nothing like the old Indy movies, and many of the scenes appear to look very fake (computer generated). Not impressed at all with any aspect. Would definityly say this one is the worst of all 4 films (the other 3 were very good). U can tell George Lucas had a hand in the making this one, trying to hard to impress with visual effects instead of a good plot, script, or action scenes. Very disappointed in this one, and i really didnt want to be.

I went with my 11 and 14 yr old sons and 5 other 14 yr old boys and we had a blast! It was fun, they are all history / war buffs so they enjoyed that aspect of film, and special effects were well-done. Indiana Jones held his own and actually seemed to have more energetic stunts and action than new son; nice touch honoring 'dad'; enjoyed setting, old cars, etc. Plenty of humor as expected. Will watch it again when it hits cable.

There was a lot about this movie I liked (Ford & LeBouf performances, bringing back Indy 1 love interest, and some excellent humor). However, the Tarzan vine swinging scene and the story are a big stretch in my mind. Like another reviewer said, great recreation of the period, but for how hyped I was before I went on May 22, it didn't meet the hype for me.

It's hard for Harrison Ford to hide his age, and the movie just doesn't 'work' like the others. For people who haven't seen it, I'd wait 'till it comes out on DVD (which will be by year's end, I'm sure).

I was expecting to be a little disappointed, I dont know why, i guess the kid looked funny on the posters and i didnt like number 2, who knows. Anyhow i was not disappointed at all. Yes some stuff they should never have lived through, but that is what Indy is all about. It was great. And my seats stank so that is saying a lot for the film. go see it.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was a thrill-a-minute movie. Harrison Ford did a superb job acting in the movie and still has what it takes to make a blockbuster at his age. The movie is very action-packed and has alot of special effects. Also it feels like it was set in the late 50s. The ending was a bit of a surprise. I hope that George Lucas and Steven Spielburg make another Indiana Jones movie.

This movie BLOWS. I figured out the entire plot within the first 30 minutes, and it's the first Indiana Jones movie I found boring. Just like The Godfather III, this sequel isn't up to par. As a avid Indy fan, I left the theater with the feeling of WTF just happend? I mean where did the 20 year gap go between the end of WWII and the korean war? Did Indy enlist in the army or what? None of this was covered in the movie. The CGI was over the top, maybe I am just an old school fan of analog tech compared to the digi Indy. The biggest question I have is why the open ending at the end of the movie?

After all these years, Part 4 was as good as the first three. They didn't try to make Harrison Ford 40 years old. We know his age, and they went with that. It was fun. Will Part 5 be called "Mutt Jones" instead of "Indiana Jones"?

I still thought it was an enjoyable movie. The story had some holes, and I didn't understand the "natives" or "mayans" that appeared. Were they sleeping and suddenly woke up, or were they waiting around for some one to invade the temple. Were they controlled by the aliens?

It was a bit slow going in the beginning but once it picked up, it was well worth it! Great family adventure and Harrison Ford delivered as he did in all the other Indiana Jones movies! They also set you up for a new generation of future movies to come, which is great too!

Personally I liked #1 and #2 I found #3 boring and #4 couldn't keep my interest even tho the action was there, the story line just went on and on but I endured any movie with Harrison Ford well need I say more.

Loved it! Very classic Jones style film. Loved seeing all the old characters back for more. I think Shia will make an excellent addition to the cast in future roles.
Ending caught me off guard, not at all what I was expecting but it made for a great ending. Can't wait to see it again.

Action packed and great fun for kids (and teens)or a family movie night. It was entertaining, but a bit predictable. I think I enjoyed the first three Indiana Jones movies more (maybe because Harrison Ford was younger... and so was I!)
