This movie was fantastic -- not a minute that wasn't excellent! Can't recommend it highly enough. A couple of graphic scenes of violence but what do you expect when fighting crime?!? Seriously worth the effort to see it at midnight. Lots of subtleties I explained to my kids (11 & 14) since I've been reading Batman comics forever. Christian Bale is the perfect Batman and, RIP, Heath Ledger was incredible as Joker. Only thing I would change is the forced, raspy voices they used -- made my throat hurt listening to them!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I went with my 11 and 14 yr old sons and 5 other 14 yr old boys and we had a blast! It was fun, they are all history / war buffs so they enjoyed that aspect of film, and special effects were well-done. Indiana Jones held his own and actually seemed to have more energetic stunts and action than new son; nice touch honoring 'dad'; enjoyed setting, old cars, etc. Plenty of humor as expected. Will watch it again when it hits cable.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
