Very slow... Very poor back ground and scenery... It looked as if it were a low budget film from the '50's. I am a huge Indiana Jone's fan who wishes this one was never made and I never spent my money t go see it! Save yourself total boredom and wait for the DVD if you must see it at all!!

A lot of fun action keeps this movie REALLY absorbing, non-dull, non-boring, so it doesn't feel like an over 2 hour movie. Adding Shia LaBeouf to the cast as the next gen Indy Jones Jr. was a definite POSITIVE--I really like him & feel that this was a TERRIFIC CHOICE for the future, & I can see already, the powers that be must be planning lots of sequels using Jr. I wasn't expecting the alien theme, & to me, that was an interesting plot twist. Harrison Ford's still got it as Indy, & he did a REALLY AMAZING job with all the stunts & action scenes. It was an overall fun, entertaining, & enjoyable installment in the Indiana Jones series.

Typical Indiana Jones adventure movie. Great to see "Marian" back with Indy in this one. Sort of different seeing Russians instead of Germans. Good selection of Russian actors/language. My wife is Russian and she was impressed with the proper use of the scripting. Overall fun to watch and seeing Harrison Ford in his legacy role as Indiana Jones. Will we now see the younger Indy in future movies of Indiana Jones?

My wife and I enjoyed this latest indiana Jones movie. While the special effects were a little hard to swallow, in general, very entertaining (especially if you like Harrison Ford) and very typical of the Jones franchise. While it will not win any Acadamy Awards, for an enjoyable night out of mindless entertainmet.. this is a good choice.

Skip it.. Nothing like the previous films. I feel bad saying it because I loved Indy as a kid, but they should have left well enough alone. I feel this movie hurts the legacy a bit, just like Godfather 3, the latest Star Wars trilogy and the last Rocky. Why these filmmakers feel the need to revisit something that was amazing and attempt to bring back the magic is beyond me. The story was all over the place, the brilliant actors were wasted in every role and the action scenes were entirely silly and way over the top. No relationship in the whole movie is believable, especially the one between Indy and Marion. You'd think after developing the script for fifteen years, George and Steven could have pulled off something better than this snoozer. Just, please... no sequel to Blade Runner. At least do me that favor.

Ok, first off let me state that I have always been a huge fan of the Indiana Jones series. I own the originals, and I love them. That said I found this current installment to be very dissapointing. The film has flashes of what made the originals great, but in the end I left with a feeling that I had seen something other than and Indiana Jones movie. *Caution there may be spoilers from here on out!!!!!!! Fist off George Lucas should be banned from ever writing another film again. He is a horrible writer now, and this film has a tremendous lack of continuity as it relates to the originals. You learn that Dr. Jones Sr., Sean Connery, has passed away. Something that should be impossible, since he drank from the holy grail. The film is also not paced well. You get some great action, and then they put the breaks on. Plus I have to say the use of CGI was way too abundant. CGI priarie dogs, CGI monkeys, all of which looked cartoonish, it was way too much. Harrison Ford is great! I wouldn't expect anything different. Shia Lebouf, is good, Karen Allen is annoying, and not believeable. Bottom line, you need to go into this film knowing it will not be as good as the previous films. Still see it, but maybe on DVD.

I was disappointed with the weak plot of this film. Although I loved the previous Indie movies, I just couldn't get into this one, and it had nothing to do with Harrison Ford getting old. The plot was thin, and even the special effects were just so-so.

This was a good update to the series. It was nice to see Indiana and Marion again doing the stuff that made the initial movie so much fun. I still think The Last Crusade is my favorite of all of them, but this one delivered all that I expected. Thanks, Lucas and Spielberg!

The new Indiana Jones movie will not disappoint avid Indian fans who are looking for an entertaining action movie. The acting and casting was excellent. It had similar themes to the other movies....a quest for some sort of spiritual artifact, with a few new twists. Go see it!

This movie was worth waiting all these years for! Hopefully the next one will not be far behind! Action packed, funny and includes the past and the future all in one movie! Harrison Ford is THE BEST!!! And what a cool and different role for cate Blanchett! Steven Spielberg did it again!

We are true Jones fans, we watched all of the other three movies to refresh our memories before going to see the Crystal Skull. It was awesome! Great action, hilarious comedy, and just a little bit of romance that dosen't spoil the action. The new kid makes a great sidekick. Can't wait to see the next sequel!

Great fun going to this movie -- nostalgia, loved the shadowing effects, introduce a way to continue more Indy films, Karen Allen is still beautiful, combination of the intellectual Indy as well as the brawny adventure guy, everything to love about this movie. The Indiana Jones meets Close Encounter of the Third Kind was a little cheesy at the end, but forgiveable.
