What a Dissapointment!

Ok, first off let me state that I have always been a huge fan of the Indiana Jones series. I own the originals, and I love them. That said I found this current installment to be very dissapointing. The film has flashes of what made the originals great, but in the end I left with a feeling that I had seen something other than and Indiana Jones movie.
*Caution there may be spoilers from here on out!!!!!!!
Fist off George Lucas should be banned from ever writing another film again. He is a horrible writer now, and this film has a tremendous lack of continuity as it relates to the originals. You learn that Dr. Jones Sr., Sean Connery, has passed away. Something that should be impossible, since he drank from the holy grail.
The film is also not paced well. You get some great action, and then they put the breaks on. Plus I have to say the use of CGI was way too abundant. CGI priarie dogs, CGI monkeys, all of which looked cartoonish, it was way too much.
Harrison Ford is great! I wouldn't expect anything different. Shia Lebouf, is good, Karen Allen is annoying, and not believeable.
Bottom line, you need to go into this film knowing it will not be as good as the previous films. Still see it, but maybe on DVD.
