I really enjoyed the whole movie, I laughed, I teared up, and i wanted more! Only thing I wished was that the ending battle was more "battle-like". I wanted to see McGonagall kick butt! But, the lighting effects were nice, characters developed well, it felt magical. Great ride, well directed.

It had an "A" up until the end, and then I had to drop it to an "A-" because they cut too much out... I wanted to see more of the Astronomy Tower incident, Dumbledore's funeral, and Harry's conversation with Ginny about why they couldn't be together. All in all, one of the best in the series.

When I first walked into the theater and grabbed a seat with my friends i thought we were gonna just watch the same old harry but this addition to the harry series is above and beyond my standards the best one yet to grace the screen I found myself ready for more it was one of the best movies I've had luck enough to catch and i highly recomend it for all of the fans and even those new to the series

The three main characters have matured well. Good humor between Harry, Ron and Hermione throughout. Great special effects in the cave. Would have liked to see more development with Harry & Jenny. Totally forgot about the fight in Hogwarts!! Why? With the Burough destroyed, where are they going to have the wedding in #7?

I really enjoyed this movie, I liked the interactions and the realism in the characters and the actors performance. My only criticism at the end of the movie Ron was sitting apart from his friends, whats up with that? And the fact they didn't really go into the funeral scene. Other than that I'm really looking forward to the next installment, I just hope they dont gut it like they did the 3rd one.

The director did an amazing job of balancing the darkness of this book and making a very enjoyable movie. I laughed, I cried and was amazed by some of the special effects. This is a must see even if you haven't read the book or seen any of the other movies. It stands alone in a theatrical stand point.
That said, if you want it to be "just like the book" it isn't. They do some things differently but it makes for a great movie. You will enjoy it more if you don't expect the book.

Overall I would tell someone to go see it, but, it didn't come up to par with the other Harry Potter movies. It was lighter, because of the love interest, and that was nice but it just didn't move along like the others did. Several around me in the theater fell asleep (mid-afternoon) and that tells me something right there. I hope the final two movies don't end up the same way.

After seeing this movie for the second time today, I can say with confidence that this is the best HP film yet. At the very least I am sure you will not be disappointed by this film as many of us have been with the past few.
The actors and actresses really come into their own and into their parts in this film. In particular, Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy does an incredible job.

The movie was well acted and entertaining but I believe the screen adaption was not done well. What happened to Fleur and Bill Weasley? What happened to the bill fight between the students and Death Eaters? What happened to the invisibility cloak. It was just shown for a brief time at the beginning of the movie. Many things were changed from the book to the movie. The movie was good but the book was fantastic!

I liked the movie but was disappointed with some of the pieces that were left out. Details like finding the locket and they have no idea where the real one is(because it was left out of the 5th one) hiding the potions book (which was wrong) Dumbledore showing up at thje subway and not at the Dursley's. It's too bad J.K. Rowling has allowed the directors and script people write out key stuff that the rabid fans think should be in there.

As a movie by itself it was an excellent movie. If one were to read the books however it was only fair. Even though I know a movie cannot fit in all the aspects of the book one would like, I get frustrated when they add elements not in the book that have no reason to be there. Why not put in more scenes from the book that should have been there? Where was the big battle scene in the end that would have added amazing spectacle to the movie Instead there was a small battle in the middle of the movie that never took place in the book. The one thing I will say that was excellent in the movie was Helena Bonham Carter's portrayal as Bellatrix Lestrange. She was the perfect combination of crazy and genius.

Very good movie. Rawling spins a great story. She has a great imagination. I can never predict what is going to happen next. This is the most amusing of all the HP movies - lots of funny romantic stuff. It is never that believable though. Even during the sad bits I never cry which I do at the drop of a hat in movies. Acting has improved a lot which is good. It was pretty bad in the first few HP movies. Still a good fun yarn!! By the way my 8 year old daughter says it is her favorite movie ever!!

Overall, I thought that the movie stuck to the book very well. I definitely did not like how the weasley house was set on fire because it never happened in the books. But, I did like how they stayed to the important details and only changed minor ones to make it so that the movie wasnt so long...for instance, following malfoy to borgin and burke and getting on the roof instead of using the invisibility cloak and extendable ears. Overall though, I think it was done really well...and maybe next time they should release the movie before the game because i beat the game a day beforehand and a lot of the scenes were in it (but not with ALL the movie details). To be honest though, it's probably one of my favorites thus far.

It is hard to believe that J.K.Rowling wrote this book Certainly not up to her other works. Parts of it were downright boring and dull, although there were a few good thrillers. It was much too easy to figure out, and the ending was not worthy of a Potter movie. What a DISAPPOINTMENT! I loved all the others! Save your money and wait for the dvd to come out for rent.

The movie was as good as I think they could have made it. The problem is they left out a few key points in the room of requirement that are important to the 7th movie. The books are still way better.

Very entertaining. As with all movies, it strays from the book out of necessity, has a few weak spots in story interpretation but overall is very well done. All of the main characters are loosened up and drawn out. Outstanding performances from Michael Gambon (Dumbledore) & Rupert Grint (Ron). Good musical score interpretation.
