I have never read the books but I have always loved the movies. So far this is the best movie so far but I didn't like that they split it in half. But its a great movie and also because it has good, experienced and young actors. It was worth waiting until midnight.

I went to the midnight showing of the Half Blood Prince, and it was so worth it. Sure some things were different from the book, but they can't fit everything from the book into the movie. The special effects were amazing! I don't think I ever got bored while watching it. Once the movie ended I wanted to watch it again, it was that good. I recommend it to everyone.

What a disappointment. The movie left out critical aspects of the story. Only once, was the Half-Blood Prince mentioned. Harry's obsession with Malfoy was key in the book, not so in this movie. Finally, there were scenes in the trailer that I never saw in the movie!! Did I miss something? I think I might have been in the wrong theatre.

The movie was great. I loved it. But the part i hated was that it was so different from the book. They took out so much. Like the breaking up with ginny part and the whole climatic battle scene. And the burial. And in the previews they show the Katie bell thing, but when i saw it at the midnight premeir the totally did not have that scene. And also they did not show all of dumbledore's memories. Like in the previews. But overall it was good.

I always love a new Harry Potter movie as I'm an avid fan of the books, however I was a little disappointed at how much they left out of this film. I was especially surprised at Dumbledore's acquisition of the ring and the final battle being left out entirely. Rupert Grint's love potion scene is brilliant! No matter what, it's still a MUST SEE!

It was marvelous to see the cinematography surround the characters and create a deep atmosphere that made the audience really relate more to all of their situations Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy, in particular, completely left me in awe as he spoke the script with such intensity that even his antagonizing character was given compassion by the world who watched his inner struggle. I have read the book many times and was thrilled with the movie's balance of comedy and deep, thought provoking material. The movie in its visual entirety truly gave me chills as it examined the inner stabilities of every character. Truly lovely entertainment

It was worth the wait.. However, I do wish they went into more detail in some things and i REALLY wish they didnt cut out all the fighting at the end. The acting was good and, it did make me laugh. It was a great movie but, I still dont like how they deleted parts of the book out and add things that didnt even happen. So, I loved it and it bugged me at the same time.

I could see how someone would enjoy this movie if they never read the books and wanted a comedy and a few fight scenes. However for an avid Harry Potter reader the movie would seem disappointing. Some of the most exciting and essential points for the final book were eaither taken out or dumbed down to the point that im not sure how the director is going to be able to tackle the 7th year movies. However seeing what they did with this one i can only imagine that they will just rewrite the book and make their own endings. Maybe they will even let Voldemort win seeing how they change everything else.

I LOVED this movie. It was by far the best Harry Potter movie made yet. It covered important aspects of the book and the actors did a fantastic job of portraying their characters, as usual =] the movie had a great bit of comedy, which was amusing and NOT cheesy or "try-to-hard" sort of comedy, and it still had the emotion that the book brings upon its readers. I will be seeing this movie again, that's for sure. It's truly a work of art.

The movie had me gripped from the beginning to the end with a few laughs thrown in as well, and the time went by so fast. This was the funniest HP movie I've ever seen, and the most crucial. However, I also have to say that I feel like it didn't live up to the hype especially after pushing the release date back. But much of the most critical parts of the book were cut out and the only passage in a HP book that has ever made me cry was thrown out as well. The movie had a sort of anti-climax to it, maybe it was not having a big fight, which was a pretty big letdown. This is still an amazing movie. It was well worth me seeing it at midnight, and it is well worth your 10 bucks! Plus, Cormac McLaggen is an extra special treat for every girl.

I was upset at how much this movie strayed from the actual book. It seems like the more sequels they create, the more the screenwriters write in what they think should have happened. I just don't understand the how people liked this movie so much. IMO this was just a little better than Order of the Pheonix, which I consider the worst HP movie so far. I thought it was all over the place regarding pacing. I felt like there was no build up for the climax. I don't know if the editor had a hand in it but ultimately it falls on the director David Yates but the movie just felt like a hap-hazard piecing together of scenes. I have never read the books but I love the movies. Azkaban is my favorite and I think it is a wonderful movie but this just felt like a mess. After this movie and Pheonix and with the knowledge that David Yates is directing both of the final 2 movies I have to say I really am not looking forward to them.

I thought the movie was pretty good, but I think it would have been difficult to follow if I had not read the books. As always the cast was awsome. Hormones were raging in this movie, setting it up for the final movie... The scenes were great. There were parts of the book that were not covered that I wished were but still the story was covered in the time alloted. The ending was abrubt, but setting up for the next chapter. This is a MUST see if you are a Harry Potter fan...

This movie was great but somehow fell short. My sister said it missed some important parts from the book. I'm looking forward to the next movie though! Go see it!

This movie was good. Not the best but good. It was very funny and entertaining. There were parts of the book that were missing that I really hoped would be in it but thats to be expected. It could have used a little more action in some of the scenes.
