Worth watching since a new set of ideas introduced in this film. Just when you thought one scene is over, another scene would pop up and the scenes kept getting better and better. It was just not ending. It keeps one glued to the seat whilst watching. This movie is incredible.
Heath Ledger, was absolutely amazing as an actor to have delivered such a performance. This is a must see. One can keep watching it again & again and yet not get bored.

This wasn't the worst Bat-Man movie but I have difficulty believing how it managed to stay on top for so long. The Good Stuff: as expected, the Joker was outstanding. I thought Jack Nicholson's version was good; Heath Ledger's edition was much better and more sinister that I've got to say "Sorry Jack". His wasn't the sole redeeming feature but the most significant. The Down Side: The movie was about 30 minutes too long - they could have cut the whole Harvey Dent/TwoFace story from the exploded hospital to the end. We know Two Face still lives; maybe the point was that they're not planning a reprisal of the Dark Knight, but isn't that the point of Bat Man? You can't kill a legend, so at least give yourself some future script room.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I've actually seen this movie five times now, and every time is just as good as the first. I still laugh, I still cry, and I still get shocked. And I'm still willing to go back for more. All performances are outstanding.

I think this was the best of the Batman movies. There were enough twists to make it interesting, and the special effects were great -- they didn't overwhelm the movie.
I got a little tired of the Joker popping up all over the place, and some of his dastardly deeds were predictable, but Heath Ledger did an excellent job.
Christian Bale is a hot Bruce Wayne, and I enjoyed Michael Caine as the droll Alfred.

As a lover of the old classic movies, I was shocked how good this movie was.
The best actors disappear into the character. Heather Ledger became the evil anarchist Joker. (Which some say caused his real life demise). I was amazed, enthralled, and riveted.
Ledger's performance of this villain will be noted as one of the best movie villains ever.
On the other hand, Katie Holmes made a big mistake not to reprise her role. Everyone else did. She should have done it even if it paid nothing.
This movie makes you think about how, in the real world, evil can transform good.....if we let it.
Go see it!

This movie is very engaging throughout. It is, however, very dark as others have suggested so it's probably best to leave kids under ten at home. I like the way the film is thorough in tying up most of the loose ends so you don't feel cheated. And Heath Ledger does an awesome job! Too bad he's unable to return for the next installment (RIP). Sidebar: The bike is extremely cool.

This was my 2nd time seeing the movie in the theaters and is no doubt the best Batman movie out of all the ones so far. Bale continues to be my favorite of all who've played the character, but Ledger's interpretation of the Joker stole the movie and is the reason why the movie's done so well. It's clear why people were talking Oscar for him despite this being an action/comic book movie. Hard to find many weak links in this movie. All the supporting cast were outstanding without being too overpowering.

I thought this was the best Batman movie I've seen but it was a little long for my comfort. I will watch it again at home where I can hit the 'pause' button occassionally. Much more action and more devious plot that previous movies. The 'joker' was absolutely great and the other actors were very good.
Would recommend to anyone but, in theater, to those who can sit for 2 1/2 hours and at home on DVD for the rest of us.

The movie is worth watching both for its technicality and scenario. It has the traditional elements of ever lasting battle of good and evil in which neutral people should eventfully chose their side and many who initially started as a here lose the track and go to the wrong side.
A whole bunch of new Ideas and "Items" introduced in this movie. It has a smooth fast course which takes you from beginning to the end.
The key is that Batman tries to keep hopes alive for human being in the battle of good and evil not simply win the current position.

This is by far the best batman yet. heath ledger delivers the greatest performance of his career in my opinion. even though it gets a little lengthy i wouldn't cut a single minute out of the movie. it's action packed and has many twists and turns through out the movie that keep the audience well entertained. i saw it twice already and can't wait to see it again. definitely the best movie of the summer!

Heath Ledger's performance was nothing short of stellar. What a great interpretation on the Joker...inspired. The rest of the movie was interesting, lots of excitement but Heath's performance definitely is the draw. So unfortunate that the world lost such a gifted artist.

Another Hollywood computerized action thriller.
Show is 2 1/2 hrs......way too long. First 1 3/4 hrs. it does hold your attention. Then you begin to wonder if it will ever end. Attempted social messages are way too muddled. The believability factor is way over the top...after all this is a movie version of a comic book character. Background noise often overhwhelms the dialog. Heath Ledger (God rest his soul) is terrific as the Joker. He really makes the movie. Worth seeing, but would not think of seeing it again.

Great Movie,and good Concept. Several climaxes to the story line. However one thing i will say is it kept you guessing even in the end. Is Two Face still Alive. He has to be. If they go by the comic Two Face and Joker become allies. Its unfortunate though that they cant end Batman. Sometimes i would like Batman to just end. The Villans just dont die. When will Batman continue to allow these villans to murder innocent people. They really need to end it because after awhile it get sold with the villan concept.

Everyone says that Heath Ledger should receive an Oscar...and he should. Not out of sorrow of his tragic death....but because it was the best performance ever....even better than Brokeback Mountain...in which his performance was awesome.
The movie was a continuous flow of action/drama/suspense. I love Michael Cane...he is always so polished. Gary Oldman...was WOW...didn't realize it was him...till an hour into the movie...WOW. Aaron Eckhart (new to me) was great...even though the 'half-faced' face was unrealistic.
Over all the best action drama type movie of the entire summer.

he was so amazing, this is his best movie by far!!! and i'm not just saying that because it was his last :'(
he kept me on the edge of my seet for the full 2 1/2 hours. he kept you WANTING more! i couldn't go and get up to go to the bathroom for a minute, he was that good!
i have seen it 2 times so far, and i'm not even close to being done yet! i am going to go every friday til it stops playing in theaters. i'm obsessed with the movie like no other! if you haven't seen this movie yet, GO SEE IT NOW!!! you will be hooked on it like me :)

To some of you out there, a gadget-heavy flick with things blowing up all over the place makes for a good movie. Wrongo. This movie lacks depth and is just not moving.There is no plot. It seems to search for a focal point, doesn't find it, and goes on to the next attempt. And at the end, the plot focus that is currently on the table is the one the movie decides on (since it is ending). Big deal, Batman is the bad guy. Boring.
