Great Plot. Really can't predict what was going to happen and every character seemed to be at risk to die. Great ending with Gordon explaining to his son what a great hero is and why Batman is the Dark Knight

The actors were great, the storyline was excellent. It was a big long, but I was never bored. Heath Ledger did a great job - they should still nominate him for an Academy Award or something.

Powerful directing by Nolan. It was great seeing the Nolan Bros get together to write for this round of the Batman series. It starts off immediately in the action and doesn't let up. Ledger turns in a performance that is nothing short of disturbing as it's all too real. It makes one wonder how much he poured into drugs just to get into the role, if he was a method actor. The movie hits you up front and is a blast to watch but its so much more of a piece as its one that is so loaded with ideas, themes and concepts that it also allows for a slow burn days after. It leaves you with a quiet sense that the Nolans really hit on a lot of very relevant points going on inside of American minds today. A must-see.

This movie was incredible. I had such high hopes for it and was not let down at all. Heath Ledger's performance was spellbinding. He inhabits the roll and leaves you wanting more. Of course everybody else did a fantastic job as well. This movie is definitely in my top 5 favorites of all time. Even after seeing it twice in a fourteen hour period, I still want to see it again.

Everything about this movie was superb. The acting was excellent all around, the story was well developed, the character development was to be commended. Each character had great depth and was portrayed in an intriguing and convincing manner. The cast is strong. There is no one miscast in this one. It is the best of the Batman movies...finally, the actors, director and writing are just right. This movie is 2 1/2 hours and it doesn't slow down anywhere...it intensifies and has you not wanting to miss anything to the point that you don't want to bat an eyelash.
This is dark, menacing and not for children. It should have been given an R rating.
Kudos to Nolan, Caine, Bale, Oldman and the rest. It was real theatre on the silver screen.

great acting, and action. movie did not seem long at all and went by very fast. the lighting was very dark and mysterious, great shots and script. the best movie i have seen all year by far. Bale and Ledger were outstanding! chicago was the perfect place to shoo the film, the skyline and chase scenes were out of this world.

Dark Knight has elements greatness sprinkled throughout. Memorable moments that puntuate the very fabric of its maniacal tone. Ledger delivers a unique and award winning performance as the Joker that has not seen any equals in my opinion. The purity of evil was explored like never before in a Batman movie. What motivates evil,? It is evil, and the pleasure thereof.
Bringing this to the big screen earns a great deal of respect to the franchise. Having Bale helm the stern as Bruce Wayne keeps the movie harnessed within its believablity forum. Minor flaws with the movie being a tad too long, and the movie attempts to explore many aspects of good and evil that will definitely leave you with feeling like you had a very large 4 course meal of evil served, but with no time to fully digest the first part of the main course.

It's 2 and a half hours long, but you wouldn't know it because it never really slows down. It's darker than any comic book-turned-movie production I've ever seen. Ledger is pretty freaky as the joker. The screenplay and plot is more adult and realistic than any of the other Batman movies, including the last one.

Overall I liked the movie, it was a little long but the story line was good. I really enjoyed the joker his role was complex and interesting. I didnt like the role of batman or his voice. A little to fake. The ending of the girlfreind was good and she dies at the end that was realistic. I would recommend the movie most comic book fanatics and men would love this and my husband. I would usually not watch these movies but overall I enjoyed it.

The Dark Knight is by far the best Batman movie ever made and ever to be. It is a non-stop, thrill ride, worthy of every award there ever is. Heath Ledger creates the Joker with such prestige, his acting will writhe in your brain, urging you to see this movie again and again. You will be repeating movie dialouge for weeks to come. You will wish you were The Batman as well as The Joker.
