This movie was awesome. I like it so much that I think it was even better than Batman Begins. While watching the movie it doesn't even feel like over 2 hours are passing by. I loved how the movie was dark and action filled, but at the same time there were many moments were the whole theater was laughing. Heath did an excellent job and did the rest of the cast. I highly recommend this movie to everyone who like the first, and I am eagerly waiting for it to be released to DVD.

I really enjoyed The Dark Knight! I remember the television Batman, and while I am still a lover of the campy Batman, I think this new incaration was fantastic! The Joker rocked!

Amazing movie. The two and half hours of this movie went by so quick cause there was always something going on.
It even took a twist that I didn't see coming. It was never mentioned in the previews. (and I wont ruin it for you).
This Joker had to be the best vilian ever. The only thing that could have made it better was if Captain Spalding had shown up as being the Jokers dad or soemthing...

Chris Nolan presents something here on screen that goes beyond a summer action popcorn movie. Of course with the Joker being the ultimate villian, it is hard to go wrong (something Tim Burton did in the 80s with extreme success). Ledger and Nicholson equally protrayed the character well. Burton's and Nolan's take on the Batman and Joker battle now share as my best movie(s) ever.

This movie could have been great if it was an hour shorter. Sure, Heath Ledger is great, but he is not in the movie long enough to make it worthwhile.
If you're looking for something boring to do for three hours, watch a baseball game.

Best Batman ever!!!! I think Christian Bale is a great Batman. Heath Ledger should receive a posthumus Academy Award for his performance. He was the best villan in any of these types of films, and very believable. I liked this script and it seemed less cartoonish while still keeping with the Batman storylines.

JOKER!
Christian does an excellent job as Batman as usual. But Heath as Joker was mind blowing. At times You forget who he is. The joker is exactly as he would be if he was real. And 2 Face wow... great effects.

'Twould be extremely easy for me to rant for pages on my every emotion and belief towards "the Dark Knight". From the beauty of the art direction, to the twisted nature of the storyline, to the complexity of the portrayed Batman/Bruce Wayne, to the sheer majesty of the late Heath Ledger's performance, which can quite simply be claimed as the single greatest portrayal of psychotic villainy to ever grace the screen. But I will not. I will simply say: See it. Before you regret not having seen it sooner.

The dark Knight is by far the best in the series for batman. Though he (Batman) has a varied past of incarnations this is real world gritty in the realm of possibility. Heath ledger is at the top of his game in his portral of the Joker. From beginning to end this movie just held me captive. For fear of overstating and possibly giving away the whole movie if you love batman this is Batman at his best.

I've already seen this movie twice. It is a great film. I feel the timing is just right. Heath Ledgers performance is mind blowing. While watching it you forget that it is even Heath Ledger behind the make up. It has extremely dark humor, which I love.

Great movie. Well written and had an understandable plot with some good surprises. Great casting and yes, Heath Ledger, did an amazing job as the Joker. Batman is just as cool as he ever has been, even though I dont' personally love christian Bale, Batman itself is still a cool, iconic character who has some great "gadgets" to make himself even more amazing. Great job!

Heath Ledger was absolutely wonderful in the role as the joker. The whole movie synopsis was excellent. I am not really into the superhero movies but I would watch this one again and again, just to watch Heath perform again, he was just fabulous.

I had high expectations, and this film didn't disappoint. It went so much deeper than even the best "comic-book" movies, taking the so-called "good guys" to the very limits of endurance, exploring what it truly means to be a hero and the sacrifices involved. Dark, chilling, ponderous film, with excellent performances all around. Ledger's Joker will go down in history as one of the most sadistic, monstrous villains in American film.

I saw the Dark Knight and it was just amazing. Heath Ledger was phenomenal. (R.I.P) It was like watching those old school Batman cartoons and seeing it come to life. The twists/climax were great and the stunts were on point.

Heath Ledger was excellent as Joker. All players were excellent - solid action, intriguing story line and 2 1/2 hrs of action. Everything I expected and more. A must see, particularly for action and dark drama fans.
