This movie was outstanding. I went in expecting it to be great but was completely blown away. The story was great, Heath Ledger stole the show and was as great as everyone is talking about.
Gotta go see it.

I would venture to say that it was the best of the Batman movies yet. I didn't think anyone could pull off the Joker better than Jack, but Ledger did it.

This is the definitive Batman movie! It's refreshing that this movie lives up to all the hype. Great performances by all! A solid story. An aptly titled movie.
One hopes that Heath Ledger's performance will be remembered come the nominating season.
I recommend this movie to one and all.

Everyone knew this was gonna be a good movie. I surely didn't think it would be an epic movie. The Dark Knight has set a new standard for comic book movies. The acting was strong , Heath deserves and will most likely receive an Oscar nod for his stunning portrayal of the Joker. The length was appropriate in my opinion because such an incredible storyline could not be developed in the usual 1hr 45 min time. Action packed, emotionally gripping, with a splash of humor, and an ending that will make you stand up and cheer. I highly recommend you experience this movie in theaters because it will most likely make history as the highest grossing movie. Once you see it you'll know why

I’ve never been one to be persuaded by hype. But this was an incredible film on all counts. Great screen play, acting and dialogue. Finally, a comic book adaptation that didn't sacrifice story and acting for special effects. Heath Ledger’s performance as the Joker is definitely up there with Hannibal Lector. My only criticism was the selection of Maggie Gylllenhaal as Bruce Wayne’s main squeeze. I agree with wanting someone intelligent and attractive in the role. She did a good job, but just didn’t do it for me.

I did not enjoy Batman Beginings at all, but The Dark Knight blew me away. Christian Bale was awesome, and dont forget Morgan Freeman. Of course the late Heath Ledger did a joker that I will never forget. If this is the first time you are going to see any Batman film sit back and enjoy the ride. You wont be lost at all and I promise that when the movie ends you will be wanting more.

This is everything you want to expect in a comic book movie. There's great action, a few laughs, the effects and cinematography are spectacular, the acting is first rate and there is a good story with characters you care about. Heath Ledger's joker is the best screen portrayal of that character yet but I don't think it's been worthy of the hype that has overshadowed this film. Christian Bale is the THE best Batman I could ever imagine.

I have a hard time when a movie is hyped beyond belief before I see it. They rarely live up to it. I think this movie followed suit in that pattern. Now, granted, Heath Ledger was absolutely genius as The Joker, but other than that? Eh. It was fine. It was too long. It was a bit slow. The end picked up fine, but it was lacking overall. Worth seeing, but try to avoid buying into the hype!

Overall I thought the movie was very well done, however, and I know I'll probably get attacked for this one, I wasn't a huge fan of Heath Ledgers joker. For me he was scary enough he almost always appeared a little silly and very awkward. I really didn't care for the facial tick and tongue licking. It just made him appear less cunning and more like an escaped mental patient. Oh guess I am just such a huge fan of Jack Nicholson's joker that I'm still adjusting. I was hoping they'd show more simalarities. That being said I was entertained from beginning to end even though I found the movie a bit predictable in spots. The movie was visually appealing, action packed, and also packed a few surprises as well. I found Bruce Wayne to be a bit slim for someone who beat up criminals at night. It gets 3.9 outt of 5 stars from me

This movie was sooo good! Heath Ledger definitely delivered as the Joker. I could not look away from the screen because I was so drawn in to every bit of the movie. If you haven't seen this movie yet, you are definitely missing out, and I don't say that too much about most movies I've seen.

Full of intense action. Great movie. My 12 year old daughter had nightmares after seeing this film due to the amount of violence. I would recommend thinking twice before taking certain children.

To me this movie covered a lot of hard subjects that we see in the world today and approaches them in a serious and well thought out way. I am glad to see a movie that takes comic book character sand makes them "real" and presents them in a way that makes them beleiveable rather than cartoony and silly like the previous Batman series. This sequel out did the original and I couldn't leave my seat. till the end. And then I had to run because I had to pee so bad!

Hi Peeps!
I saw The Dark Knight Last night, and think it is a great movie. I am not an avid follower of the Batman series, but I really did enjoy this film. Heath Ledger put on a solid performance as The Joker, a much darker role than the one Jack Nicholson played years ago. I would recommend this movie!
