The Dark Knight

I’ve never been one to be persuaded by hype. But this was an incredible film on all counts. Great screen play, acting and dialogue. Finally, a comic book adaptation that didn't sacrifice story and acting for special effects. Heath Ledger’s performance as the Joker is definitely up there with Hannibal Lector. My only criticism was the selection of Maggie Gylllenhaal as Bruce Wayne’s main squeeze. I agree with wanting someone intelligent and attractive in the role. She did a good job, but just didn’t do it for me.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
