The best Batman movie yet. The plot has twists and turns that keep you guessing, the actors are sharp, and Heath Ledger has created a Joker for the ages. Don't take any little kids - it's PG-13 for a reason, and, in a quieter age, would have been R for sure. It is intense!

i think Christian Bale plays one of the best batman roles out of the six movies. Heath Ledger plays the better joker in this one. You got batman, the joker,two face, a brief showing of the scarecrow and fake batmans. This one has everything you need for a batman movie action,drama,a little comedy,and everything i left out. Its definitely one of the best summer movies this year. i give it 5 stars rating.

This movie is even better than the first one. Heath Ledger should win some sort of award for his roll as the joker. Having seen most of his movies prior to this one, I still had a hard time realizing he was playing the roll.

The new Batman movie was spectacular. I didn't know what to expect with this new movie. But, everything from the acting to plot were all done very well. It is crazy to think that the Joker is actually Heath Ledger. If I didn't know who was playing the joker, I would never have guessed that it was Mr. Ledger. I was able to see this movie at 12:01 am the day that it came out and this past Saturday. If you havn't seen this film yet, I suggest doing so.

I have seen every batman movie that has been in theaters. My son is away at college and this is the 1st time that we have not gone to see a Batman movie together. He was at the movies in South Carolina while I was at the movies in New Jesey. We shared our thoughts on the movie, we both thought the movie was the best yet

This is really a very well acted and well paced film. The 2 and 1/2 hours went very quickly because of being transfixed on the screen. Not many people were getting up. This is well worth the price of admission.

The movie was good. But it is very dark and deals with a lot of negative issues about the world today. It is much more raw than any of the other Batman movies. The action was good and the gadgets were cool. I would recommend the movie, but just be aware its not as "comic-like" as some of the others.

I'm not a big fan of movies like this. I only saw the first Batman movie. However, I loved this one! My only complaint was Batman's voice, but it was easy to overlook. Heath Ledger did a fantastic job as the Joker. Overall, an awesome movie!

This film was slow in some parts. I think they were trying to build up the back story of Harvey Dent, Bruce Wayne, and Rachel. I was annoyed by the voice Christian Bale used when he was in the batman gear. But these are my only list of complaints. I saw Broke Back, Four Feathers, and the Patriot. I truly believed Heath Ledger stood out among the actors in the film. I truly believe he was the joker. I didn't know it was him until someone told me. His performance is the reason why I will see it again. I also enjoyed the supporting actors in the film as well.

This was an excellent movie! I wouldn't say it was better than Batman Begins because they were both equally good in my opinion. Heath Ledger's performance was phenomenal, (when I first saw the preview I couldn't believe it was him), sadly it was the first and last time to see him in such a juicy role. He deserves an oscar dead or not.

This movie was fantastic. Altough in general we all know the basic story of batman, there were moments when I was completely suprised. The action was great, the acting of course was great. Especially The Joker. I loved how heath played him with no reason or rhyme. He was just insane. I loved it and cant wait to see it again!

More than just a summer blockbuster, it was also an incredible story, where more than one character helped to bring the story along. I thought all of the acting was very well done, although I didn't like Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes.
Much more "real to life" movie than the other Batman movie's (especially the one's before Batman Begins).

I guess when you add class actors to a movie you get a better product. Heath Ledger is amazing and thorough in his role as the Joker. If he receives an Oscar nod it should be for this performance and not for his untimely death. don't miss it and see it in a theatre.

Heath Ledger's joker completely dominates the movie taking a comic book villan and turning him into a believable real world evil. The movie's dark story line is a perfect backdrop for Ledger's homicidal joker. The rest of the acting was okay. The action scenes were great. The only minus was that the movie was a tad long, however, the story does come to an eventual close and is a great starting point for the next movie in the series. So if you want to escape into the darkness of Gotham City for 2.5 hours, I highly recommend this movie. I could have watched Ledger's joker interact with the other characters in the movie all evening. He will be hard to replace in the next movie. Enjoy.

I loved this movie even though i didn't really see Batman Begins. This movie keeps your attention throughout the entire 2 1/2 hours and the performances were great. Heath Ledger played an extraordinary part and the plot wouldn't have been carried out in the mind blowing and insane way it was. I overall love this movie.

The Dark Knight was one of the most passionate movies I have seen in a long time. The acting by Heath Ledger was amazingly indescribable considering he should be nominated for an award on all spectrum's. He fit the role to a tee.
As for the Dark Knight himself, he did not disappoint either. The creativity and emotion that Christian Bale portrayed was stellar. He is the best Batman in my eyes that I have ever witnessed on the big screen.
