I would only give this movie 2.5 stars. The script was totally out of control. I couldn't stand Batman's "BATMAN" voice. Drove me crazy by the end of the movie. Poorly cast for Two-Face and the female lead. They could have cut this movie by 30-45 minutes and it would have been better. Only positive point was Heath Leather's performance. A real tribute to his talent. Wait for DVD release.

Awesome in all regards. Everyone does an incredible job - great balance between action and story (amazing story) - Heath Ledger has set the standard - what an amazing interpretation of the Joker. This is a must-see film.

This was a winner! I loved every second. It is hard to make 2.5 hours seem too short. I left wanting more and I hope Warner Brothers commits to at least one more film. Best movie of the year, best movie in a while.

This movie was amazing. I was on the edge of my seat for more than 75% of the time. Heath Ledger played the joker so well, the scariest, most believable villain I've ever seen. You have to go see this movie.

Great movie- had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I didn't want it to end! Heath Ledger took the role of the joker - a whacked out psycho- and was funny, terrifying, dangerous and intriguing all at the same time. No one will ever be able to play the joker again without living over the shadow of Heath's inspiring performance.

Hands down this is the best Batman film yet. It is intense as all get out... Probably the most extreme PG-13 movie of all time. Great performances come not only from Heath Ledger (best Joker EVER), Gary Oldman and Michael Caine but William Fichtner, Eric Roberts and TINY LISTER!

Before I go on raving about this movie, I think it's important to clarify that such ravings are not skewed by the untimely death of Ledger. I know that I was personally expecting less of the movie, since all the hype was around this being Heath's last performance. However, to my pleasant surprise, this movie was just as substantive as it was pivotal, and all actors performed phenomenally. The movie takes off right from the beginning and doesn't miss a beat throughout. I was not necessarily a Batman fan before, but I certainly am now. Truly deserving of all of the accolades it is receiving.

The movie tells a nice story. I think the director sometimes got a little too overeager and put a lot of subplots in that really were not needed, he also had some scenes that went on too long in my opinion. Thankfully the underlining story for the movie was solid enough to make it bearable with all the fluff. It is a little long but if you can stay at attention through some of the lulls, you will definitely be rewarded.

This movie was better than I expected, and Heath Ledger's performance was spectacular!! I believe with his performance he will get an oscar nod. Gary Oldman, and Aaron Eckhart's performances were great as well!!

My husband and I have been looking forward to this movie since we saw Batman Begins 3 years ago. It did not disappoint. From start to finish, it was flawlessly framed and the acting was superb. Heath Ledger was amazing as the Joker and Christian Bale was very good as Bruce Wayne/Batman. But Aaron Eckhart was incredible as Harvey Dent. He was the perfect choice to play Harvey and the anguish he showed when he was in the hospital after he was burned was palpable. I would recommend this movie to anyone... not just those who love comic books and comic book movies, but to anyone.

I was really impressed with a lot of the movie. Christian Bale really took a back seat to Heath Ledger and not just because of his untimely death. This was the best piece of acting I have seen from him. There were only 2 points in the movie where I even recognised the Joker as Heath. Take away all the makeup and replace Batman with just a detective or cop and you would have had a great crime movie which is a great change of pace from most other "comic book" films.

YES! I would reccommedn going to see this movie! It is well made. All actors are great in their roles. Heath Ledger is outstanding as the Joker. His performance is chilling. He is evil with no conscience. I enjoyed Chris Bale because he becomes Batman, better than any of the other Batman Actors. There is a story line and a plot..although the children beside me was not looking for this all they wanted to see was Batman and the Joker.
The action and special effects are top notch.
The movie is long but the time passes fast.
Maybe a little to intense for younger children,.

At first I was hesitant to see this movie, as I'm not really into the whole comic-book-turned-movie genre. I feel it's overdone. This movie has such a great storyline though. It's the perfect combination of action, drama, and suspense. I didn't even care that the film was 2 hrs and 30 mins. I didn't want it to end! I'd definately see it again.
