Good flick. Heath Ledger has redefined the bad guy, finally given him some depth in this type of movie. Unfortunate he won't be around to continue what he started.
Christian Bale is underrated and also deserves his props.
Look for 2-face to return.

Even though it's 2.5 hours, it's well worth it! Heath Ledger is fantastic as the Joker, and very funny!! I just don't get though why Batman's voice has to be so deep and almost demonic...?!
Still, a great movie and a must see!

It was a great movie. It included everything, the fight between good and evil characters, the struggle between doing right and wrong, two guys fighting for the girl...etc. It was action packed and it made me want to see more. The movie was a little long but I didn't realize it until it was over. The story line really followed the comic book series.

I am not a comic book fan, and never was a batman fan before for that matter either, but I loved this movie and actually want to go back to see it again. It is a movie that you just have to experience in the theater. I give it a really two big thumbs up!

Just as good as Batman Begins. Heath Ledger was awesome as expected - pure evil. The only complaint I have was that the story was not as cohesive as the first film - went in too many directions and dragged on a bit at the end, but still a great film.

There were young kids in this movie when I saw it. I think it should be rated R because it is so violent. Heath Ledger was amazing and was the highlight of the movie.

Exactly what they promised, not a huge fan of Bale as the Batman, too much base in the voice. The visuals,story line,and Ledger work hard enough to make up for it

This movie is the rare film that actually surpasses the hype. Heath Ledger's performance was inspired and definitely a worthy final performance to leave on screen. The biggest surprise was Aaron Eckhart's turn as Harvey "two-face" Dent. Never before has a screen villains birth been so weel portrayed. And Christian Bale as Batman, what can be said that gives the proper amount of kudos to a performance so twinged with nuances that you feel yourself getting goosebumps everytime batman appears. This movie is a great crome drama. You could remove all the superheros and villains and replace them with Al pacino and Val Kilmer and have one hell of a heat-like film. So many plot balloons are up in the air that the viewer wonders if they will all land successfully and brother I am here to tell you they do. The bar has just been raised on not just superhero movies but summer blockbusters in general.

It's hard not to focus completely on Heath Ledger's performance. If he were still alive, I think he'd still be getting high acclaim for this but it wouldn't have the same poignancy. He took the Joker in such a marvelously twisted direction; I found I couldn't wait to see what he did next while at the same time my moral center was both dreading it and felt horrified that I was enjoying the experience. There's a lot going on in this movie and overall I thought it was really good. I feel like we didn't get to see enough of Bruce Wayne in this, but with the frenetic pace and so many other storylines to deal with, at least we had Batman Begins. I hope Nolan directs the next one, and I hope he can continue to focus on the plot and the characters. Don't get me wrong, the special effects were great, but I've seen too many movies that get distracted by the "let's see what we can come up with next".

This movie was really good and what made it great was Heath Ledger's performance. I could not see anyone else playing that part and he really did the movie justice and deserves all the hype that he is getting.. Although the enitre premise of the original story line of the batman has been changed in these most recent installments, I thought the film itself was incredible. The details of the inner struggles of the individual characters was astounding. The action was intense and nonstop, though action fantasy, was made believable. Ledger and Bale made a phenomenal pair of enemies. And I would be interested to see if Mr. Dent is exploitated again.
