This movie is the rare film that actually surpasses the hype. Heath Ledger's performance was inspired and definitely a worthy final performance to leave on screen. The biggest surprise was Aaron Eckhart's turn as Harvey "two-face" Dent. Never before has a screen villains birth been so weel portrayed. And Christian Bale as Batman, what can be said that gives the proper amount of kudos to a performance so twinged with nuances that you feel yourself getting goosebumps everytime batman appears. This movie is a great crome drama. You could remove all the superheros and villains and replace them with Al pacino and Val Kilmer and have one hell of a heat-like film. So many plot balloons are up in the air that the viewer wonders if they will all land successfully and brother I am here to tell you they do. The bar has just been raised on not just superhero movies but summer blockbusters in general.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
