As promised, this movie did not disappoint. I really enjoyed watching this movie even though I am not a big Batman fan. Heath Ledger was really good and the movie was exciting, fast paced and thrilling.

The movie is constantly moving, I was on the edge of my seat and did not look at my watch once the entire show. Great visual effects. It was a little eery to see Heath on the screen and know that he is gone. He did an amazing job with this character.

This movie was FANTASTIC.....the first time i saw it :/ It pulls you in with the very first scene and takes you on a memorable ride, but that only last the first time. After a second view you notice that Racheal is a hideous creature and that Harvey Dent needs to stop pretending to be Harvey Dent. The Joker (as 99.99% of people WILL say) was great. He was dark yet still comical. The ending was a bumer (dont wait for the credits to end because there is no surprise there either :/ ). i was disappointed that they didn't introduce yet ANOTHER villian or leave an opening for another sequel, which due to sales is pretty damn possible.

This is quite possibly the greatest movie I have ever seen. It makes you believe that a superhero could exist in this world. Taut editing, superb sound, old school movie making and perfect performances from the whole cast make this one of the finest pieces captured on film in decades. Do not miss this movie.

The Dark Knight was an epic movie due to the depth in which all of the actors portrayed their characters. Bale gives a look at a more troubled Batman who still believes in humanity, and Heath Ledger is brilliant in the maniacal Joker. 5/5

This is by far the best Batman movie to hit the theaters. Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was astounding. I love how the movie occasionally made you laugh at the Joker's antics, then a second later you're terrified of what you might be seeing soon. Great movie.

One of the greatest movies overall, easily the best Batman movie ever released. After watching the movie the first time, watched the original Burton films, including Jack's Joker. Jack is creepy, Heath is way creepier, and more believable. I think the "believability" aspect that Nolan gave to this new series has given more credibility to Batman's character. Burton had done a great job turning a comic book into a movie - Nolan has turned a comic book into a masterpiece.
The only criticism I have is that Bale's Batman voice was overused and unnecessarily scratchy. It was almost to the point of annoyance, but fortunately there weren't many scenes where his Batman talked as most of his speaking was as Wayne. Still, this is incredibly minor and didn't detract too much from the movie as a whole.

Hands down the Joker is the best villian in any comic book series brought to the big screen. Heather Ledger was the movie and really brought the dark side of an evil and relentless criminal to life. I do think this was the best Batman but not the best comic book movie ever.

I was afraid this movie wouldn't live up to the hype, but it did and then some. Heath Ledger did a fantastic job as the joker. I had to keep reminding myself that it was him under the makeup. A truly disturbing portrayal of the Joker. Don't wait, go see this movie!!

Excellent movie in 3 ways: 1) believable actors, 2) great visuals, 3) message/moral to the story.
The movie was not a "happy ending" type, more so a movie with a lesson on realism. Probably the best movie of the summer.

The good: Loaded with action and humor. Lots of darkness and Ledger makes a character, in this case The Joker, like few could ever do with any character.
The bad: Starts a little slow and cheesy. Too much going on for one movie. The guy who plays Harvey Dent and Maggie G. are tolerable.
Bottom line: You must see this movie. Even though it's 2 1/2 hours, the time flies by.

Beautiful disturbing movie- and I am not a batman fan in general. The performance of the Joker was inspired, the sets/effects intense, the storyline captivating- esp. the 'psychological tests' by the Joker....

Excellent movie experience. Heath Ledger does deserve the academy award for Best Actor. Truly psychotic! The Batman character seemed to be a little stiff, more than the last movie. I would give the movie 3.5 stars out of 4. Definitely worth the experience.
