I am glad to see the Batman curse has been lifted. The Dark Knight is absolutely riviting from start to finish. With all the hype about this movie, I went in thinking that the talk was a bit over- exaggerated. However I was a big fan of Batman Begins, so I already knew it would be good. I was not prepared for how good this movie actual is. I am a laid-back person and I found myself jumping up, clapping, and on the edge of my set during the fight scenes. I even applauded and whistled at the end. Not only visually stunning, but just a rollercoaster of sensations!

The Dark knight was very entertaining right from the beginning and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I wasn't going crazy about the coming of the movie like some fanatics but when I saw it I was very happy that I went to see it. The job that Heath did on his part was amazing. Joker not only had me rolling but it was a great job of acting and made the movie even better for me. RIP HEATH LEDGER. The other actors did a good job also. Overall I wasn't disappointed and I would go see the movie 9 more times in the movies if I had the money for it. LOL

Brilliant performance by Heath Ledger and a very good one by Aaron Eckhart. The story was a natural evolution from Batman Begins.

The Dark Knight was exactly the movie I had hoped for and more. Great ACTING! Outstanding plot, action, adventure, drama, dark, psychotic (Joker),twisted, heroic, funny in parts, and even teaches a solid lesson. I can only hope they keep on making Batman movies as good as this is. Worth every penny 100x over. Already have a space cleared in my DVD collection for the day this is released. The only negative point is that Heath Ledger is not around to receive the praises he deserves.

This movie is not for anyone under the age of 10 years old. This is not a traditional comic book movie. The dark knight is more like many good comic books, however. It is intelligent, symbolic, well framed and action packed. The movie is also violent and while the violence is mainly implied. I have seen horror movies that were not as shocking.
This is what the modern Batman is about and I am glad that we can finally see it represented on the screen.

This movie seemed to be 3 hours or so, which normally I would hate but I did not mind with this movie. I felt like I was watching the actual Batman and the Joker that was to be since the comic book was written.
There is a reason why it is PG-13 though, so leave the children with the babysitter. It is extremely realistic and eerie and sadistic but that is what makes this movie great. The overall rating is 5 stars and there is a reason.

This was a great, action-packed film! The special effects were fabulous, and we enjoyed every minute. Heath Ledger was put his own spin to the Joker, and was much darker than the Jack Nicholson character. It still had its comedic moments, however.

This Batman movie doesnt follow the comic book theme that the first series of batman movies did. It becomes real. It actually makes you think a little bit. (about time a movie did that) The Joker is truly a scary guy who has his own sick motivation for doing all that he's done. Probably the best Batman movie yet. If Heath Ledger doesn't win some kind of an award for this performance there is no justice.

Seems a little slow at first to build up the story but completely neccessary. If it did not do this it would be just like any other comic book movie. All action, limited story. There were so many little things inter-twined in the story that made this a truly epic film. Not to mention the moral dilemmas that everyone almost evryone is forced to face. I especially like the way that Batman has to wrestle with his own rules. A very dark film with a few graphic images and implies violence. Definitely on the edgier side of PG-13. Heath Ledger was very good and it is very sad that he will not be around for a sequel. A talented actor who will truly be missed.

It kept me at the edge of my seat for a majority of the movie. Heath Ledger did such a great job as the role of the Joker. Christian Bale is the best Batman in my opinion out of all the Batmans. And I like Maggie Gyllenhal playing Rachel then Katie Holmes. There was more spunk to her character.

First of all Heath Ledgers preformance is spectacular, but I want to pay some respects to Aaron Eckharts portayal as Harvey Dent/ Two Face, he also is exceptional. Overall I felt the movie is about 20 - 30 minutes too long and the "Joker" resolution was a bit of a let down, but I do highly recommend everyone see this on the big screen
