I loved this movie. It would be hard to follow, if you haven't read the book, however. The characters are very real and believable, and it didn't bother me to read the subtitles. The action is fast-paced, and I was not bored for a second. Some of the scenes are violent, but that is the way the book was written. The action deviated from the book in a few places, but not enough to change the plot. Great movie! :-)

This was a great, action-packed film! The special effects were fabulous, and we enjoyed every minute. Heath Ledger was put his own spin to the Joker, and was much darker than the Jack Nicholson character. It still had its comedic moments, however.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
