My teenage children and I went to see this movie because of the high ratings it was receiving on IMDB and the comments of friends who had already seen it. We all really enjoyed it - not quite as good as Iron Man but still very enjoyable. Good dialog and great acting.

This movie was awesome. It stayed true to the tv series with the whole premise of an on-the-run fugitive constantly looking over his shoulder, whilst maintaining that hobo image due to torn overstretched clothing. The hulk looked frightening but at the same time they did a good job giving him character through convincing facial expressions. The end fight was jaw dropping. Both he and Abomination nearly laid waste to not only themselves but the entire city. A must-see!!!!!

I have to say this movie surprised me in a few outstanding ways.
1. The story like the script moves fast and presumes you know the Hulk back story as most do or should. That was a good thing 'cause I think that's where the 1st Hulk movie slowed down too much.
2. This movie shows that with all the power Banner has as the Hulk he truly has nothing as after each transformation he's left lost, alone and for all intents and purposes a homeless man begging for his next meal.
3. The action and the fight scenes got more intense each time until the end just blew me away. I realized that for the first time in all these Marvel [or DC] movies I was truly, truly watching a full spread comic book unfold before me!!!
Downside? Yeah the chemistry between Norton and Tyler like their dialogue is a little flat -- actually Tyler is better with the Hulk then Norton lol but you really don't mind as its a necessary part of an otherwise good story and great comic book movie!!!

Took my teenage sons to see the Hulk and we all enjoyed it. While they missed them, I caught all the nods to the Hulk TV show, including the theme music, the brief glimpse of Bill Bixby, and Lou's cameo. The story was OK - basically a typical storyline like the ones used in the old TV show, but the action was impressive. The only thing I was really disappointed in was the theater. Their projectionist sloppily skipped a reel of the film right in the middle of the big fight scene - they cut out 15 minutes of the movie! But I'm not paying my other arm & leg to see it in a theater again - I'll wait till it comes out on blu-ray.

This is a good interpretation of our green anger management problem, and fits well into the mould Marvel is making with it's new studio. Although entertaining as a standalone film, it would seem that Marvel may be planning something big. Suffice to say, it fits in the same world as Iron-Man, and maintains a subtle continuity, without needing anything related to it. It lacks a certain level of fun compared to Iron-Man, but it has enough entertainment value to get by, and makes for an interesting study of Bruce Banner and the Hulk. Expect to be entertained, but not blown away.

I wasn't very impressed with the first Hulk movie and like many others the only reason I decided to go see this second one was because Edward Norton is in it. I personally was not disappointed. The storyline stays within the realm of the comic book and successfully entertains its core audience. There is the subtle comedy that comes across as natural and does not feel like the screenwriter was trying to force a reaction out of the audience. The action scenes were definitely killer and Tim Roth is a superb villian. Also there is a cameo from the original tv series Hulk, Lou Ferrigno which I thought was clever. So overall if you like this genre of movie I recommend you go see this film!

I have to say, I was a fan of Ang Lee’s telling of the Banner/Hulk story. (Being a fan of the comic book since I was a kid helped bolster my enthusiasm.) After numerous viewings of the movie, however, I could see why some were unhappy with the film. Being a fan of the character(s), I looked forward to this new version with anticipation. When I finally saw it, I was not disappointed! First off, the bad news. The movie is not on par with Ironman. But, then again, Ironman set the bar pretty high. And Stark/Ironman is really quite different from Banner/Hulk. Let’s face it - the Hulk is not your typical superhero. Also, I will say, here again, the CGI work, although head and shoulders above the 2003 film, still looks like CGI. Making a man in a metal suit look real is one thing. Making a ten foot green monster look real is another. Also, Lee’s film delved into the emotional and psychological aspects of Banner/Hulk. This movie does not touch on that at all. And now for the good news. For some, because The Incredible Hulk is nothing like Lee’s movie is, in and of itself, good news. This movie takes a more straight forward approach to story-telling which results in very entertaining thrill ride of a movie. Even the actors seem to be having fun. Where Lee’s movie was more heavy and full of angst, Leterrier’s version is lighter and even allows the characters to have moments of comedy. The kind of thing you’d expect from a comic book adaptation! Bottom line: although it isn’t Ironman, it is, without question, a very enjoyable time at the movies.

I thought that the graphics were fun, but, the acting was horrible. I love Ed Norton as an actor, but, he didn't have much of a part. My idea of suspense isn't constant chase scene.Maybe because Edward was one of the writers, this was a poor movie.

Let me start off by saying I liked the 2003 version of the Hulk. I am a fan of both independent and big budget films, but I lean towards dialog driven indie films - That being said, if you want action, you will not be dissapointed in this film. Ed Norton was a great choice for Bruce Banner, although I would have chosen an older Betty Ross. The only issue I had is the same one I had with the 2003 version - I still have difficulty accepting the character is real, when placed next to the actors. This 2008 Hulk looks less like a character made of flesh and blood, than the 2003 version. Both films should have been all CGI in my opinion.

I really enjoyed this movie, the beginning is just amaziing. The camara angles are great, the running through the streets is action packed.The angles make you feel like you are right with actor Ed Norton. Huge fan of his, glad to see him do something like this. Liv Tyler is perfect for this movie, very beautiful woman. I love the marvel comic movies, and bringing Robert Downey, Jr into it leaves me hoping for a sequel with them both.

First of all I want to say that I enjoyed the first Hulk. Many people wrote that movie off and never really gave it a chance. And after seeing this one I would recommend people to go back and see the first one and then compare. With that said, this one did alot for the original created concept of the Hulk by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee. they wanted to portray an Frankenstein Monster, misunderstood, feared and loathed. They did a great job of doing that. The Hulk character is very complexed which is why i enjoyed the first one Ang lee did a good job explaining that fractured Psyche, This movie was pure action. You want a story see the first one, you want action and a little HULK SMASH!!!! then get in line and see this one. Enjoy

A huge improvement over the last Hulk Movie more in line with the Action / Popcorn movie that one expects from a Marvel Comic Movie. going into the theater i was some what skeptical that this would not be anywhere close to ironman. but in all actuality when i walked out, the incredible hulk was in the same league as ironman. the fighting scenes at most times were jaw dropping and the special effects were amazing. marvel has deffinately hit the nail on the head with both iron man and the incredible hulk.

The first hulk movie was pathetic! It started at the bottom of the hill and snowballed (which is not easy to do!). This one had a lot more character action, a better plot, etc. It even had Tony Stark leading the way for the Avengers movie! I thought it was very good!

This movie was the one meant to introduce Hulk to Hollywood. I applauded even before the movie ended, and I never do that. For me, this is the first film since "Independence Day" which deserves a second trip to the theatre.

This movie was good. It shows a different side of the man inside the green giant as he struggles to find a way to control the beast within. Edward Norton was a great Bruce Banner. The way he portrayed the scientist really caught the essence of the mild mannered scientist. The movie had great funny lines that kept the movie funny, but enough action and intensity that kept the movie going. I couldn't believe the movie was over. If you ever grew up watching the Incredible Hulk on TV, this is the movie you have to see. You will hear and see some of the old stuff from those episodes. I'm glad Marvel is starting to interact with the movies and characters like Iron Man. Can you imagine the possibilites?

What a fantastic movie from start to finish. My family and I loved it. It was so exciting when Tony Stark (aka, Iron Man) made an appearance at the end talking of a plan. The Hulk and Iron Man and others together for a movie is going to be so much fun. We are really looking forward to what Marvel has in store for us. Woo Hoo! Don't miss this movie, but see Iron Man first so you understand Tony Stark's presence at the end. Good Stuff. Thanks Marvel!!!!

This was an awesome movie! The story of the incredible hulk has been told many times now by many different groups. This is by far the best telling in my opinion. I think Marvel did a tremendous job of claiming the Hulk back as thiers!

this movie was a lot better than i expected!!! they actually got it right this time. edward norton played a great bruce banner embodying the characters need to relieve himself of his other half perfectly. The Cgi Hulk looked like a cgi Hulk but what do you expect?? It was still good. The whole time i was glued to the screen watching the great action in this movie. I would even go to say that this was better than Iron man only bc I was dissapointed that Tony Stark wasnt in his suit more often and there were no big fighting scenes in that movie. I was left wanting to see the suit in action more. But yes The Hulk was great.

Well above the lack luster of the first Origin Movie, The Incredible Hulk 2008 Smashes all previous attempts at letting current generations actually enjoy and understand the Green machine epic journeys. Ed Norton plays the part of Banner with a God like grace, props to the team who got him to pen his commitment to the movie and hopefully the upcoming Avengers movie they so cruelly taunted us with as the Iron man billionaire Tony Stark tickled our child hearts with a 30 second cameo. If you like comic books and whether your a hulking nerd or not, The Incredible Hulk has it all. I'm confident most will walk away after viewing it wanting to smash something! =P

Marvel really did it this time for the Incredible Hulk. The story line was very solid while the special affects were for the most part realistic. I would have like to see the transformation of the Abomination in more detail. It seems there is a hint of a sequel. Team Hulk (Avengers) vs The Abominations. I recommend checking this movie out and getting the DVD when it arrives. 6-2008
