This Hulk is so much better than the first! Don't pass it up based on the Ang Lee disaster. What struck me most is the the over all performance of the actors and the story telling. Unlike the first film I actually gave a dam about the characters and their plight; from Banner's quest to his and Betty's relationship. Ross was right on and Blonsky was perfect. As a Marvel Comics fan I gotta say this movie is right on par with Spidey and Iron Man and builds seemlessly on the quest to bring the Avengers to Hollywood Glory. If your a comic fan it'll fill your palet, and if you just like a good action flik then this this one's the movie to see! Excelsior!!!

....Please make him more gray than green. Give him a haircut, entirely too much hair on his head, and anyone who has ever followed comics throughout its years including early 80's know that the more angry, enraged the Hulk becomes, the stronger he gets and even his body enlarges some. Overall, the movie was EXCELLENT. I will still put Iron Man on top as the best comic book movie thus far. I would definitely recommend it and would see it again, lots of fun!

i was a bit disappointed that eric banner(original hulk) was not used for this movie...but i suppose that the contrast from normal to incredible was better for this one because they didn't make him as invincible as he was in the first movie.that is good and bad because you don't want to see the hulk as vulnerable but at the same time...his anger still draws more strength and the outcome is still as devastating to the opposer. great movie and even if you didn't like the first or didn't see it...this one is a block buster for sure.

OH MY GOSH....I was TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY by this 1000% better Hulk movie than the last Hulk movie, which doesn't even begin to compare. EXCELLENT performances by Liv Tyler & Ed Norton as the lead couple--I thought it was SO COOL when Liv Tyler's character Betty jumped on top of Bruce Banner when he was tied down & turning into The Hulk: WOW, now that's a dedicated girlfriend!! After practically everyone (except Ang himself) saw the disappointment that was The Hulk, four years later they have created a pseudo-sequel band-aid. Gone is the intro (which evryone knows by now) and here to stay is more action, clever scenes with the Hulk (sometimes you don't even see him which makes it even scarier), and better effects and villains. All in all, a great summer movie that I'll probably either see again or rent it as soon as its available. Go see this movie!

Considering the poor press that this film received, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the movie was. I'm intrigued at the connection between this film and "Ironman" and am anxious to see what new movie will pull it all together. Though a new film, they did an excellent job of connecting it to the previous film, the comic books and the TV show with historical references and cameo appearances. All-in-all, a thoroughly enjoyable movie experience.

I am really surprised by all the great reviews here. Everyone really does have their own tastes here! My husband and I thought it was slow to start, boring and not much excitment. I compared it to the first Hulk movie. Granted, the graphics was better, but we felt the plot was weak and the story never really took off. I can say though that the best part was the very last scene at the end.

Thought the movie was filled with good action. The movie definately represented the tv series. I thought Edward Norton played the part well. The animation of the hulk was truly life like and was great to watch. I thought the fight scene was incrediable. I am anticipating the follow up to this with IronMan. Problem is that I heard it was not coming out till 2011. I sure hope the movie comes out sooner. Overall a great movie to see. I will definately add this to my collection when it comes out on DVD.

As many have already written, this "Hulk" is leaps and bounds ahead of the previous version. I believe this attempt will satisfy the comic-book fans, those that like a good story, action fans, visual/cinematography enthusiasts, and so on.
Writing and direction are better; the story does not stray from the comic book story like the previous one - no Nick Nolte as a grizzled father-figure. The momentum was definitely built up to a peak at the end. It was a lot easier to empathize with Bruce Banner due to the emotional scenes and the heart-pounding-hope-he-gets-away scenes. There was also a sprinkling of almost Favreau-style humor in the appropriate places.
Acting is better; Edward Norton is just more believable as Bruce Banner than Eric Bana. I also enjoyed William Hurt as a bad guy (just like I enjoyed the Big Lebowski as one in Iron Man.) A tip of the hat to Tim Roth also. I look forward to seeing the character development of the supporting cast. Before I saw this film I looked up a couple spoiler sites for back-story info. Hard-core comic book fans might recognize the civilian versions of Doc Samson and the Leader.
CGI is better; it feels more like the well-choreographed, well-balanced animation of Iron Man.
I enjoyed this movie, would recommend it to friends, and would see it again. Momentum is building to the Avengers movie!

I really enjoyed this movie. It was jam packed with adventure, true to the series (it even had a cameo by the original Hulk himself!), Edward Norton was much better as Bruce Banner, and it even began in the same country as the last film left off. It was very satisfying to watch and Liv Tyler's uncanny ability to cry on cue actually worked for this film. I loved it. Totally entertaining, from beginning to end.

I went here for fathers day. I wanted to recapture some old Lou Ferrigno Hulk. He actually makes a cameo! My biggest thrill is watching my kids stare at the movie the whole time and loving it. It was action, romance, and great special effects. Ed Norton did a great job. I would definately go see this if you enjoy this kind of movie at all!

This movie was terrific. We went as a family for Father's Day. My husband and I both loved the movie. Full of action with just enough romance to make every woman fall in love with the Hulk and every man want to be his best friend. Our daughter, 6, who is very sensitive to violence was a little scared through the fight scenes as was our son, 3. So maybe take the older kids who can distinguish between fiction and reality and let the younger ones stick to the cartoon. Or be prepared for some "Why is he so mean?" and "I'm scared" statements. : ) All in all, I thought the movie was GREAT and can't wait to see more!

So I am 37 and saw the Hulk wayy back then and my boyfriend read all the comic books. In true Stan Lee fashion he changes the story every time a comic hits the big screen. He attempted to pull us in with the "hulk smash", and a cameo by Lou Ferrigno,& the orginial Banner. The t.v. show had the don't you feel bad for him, horrible way to live your life attitude and Liv Tyler barely pulled that off. Stan Lee's cameo went nowhere, why did they make him drink that soda and tell us he was effected if he wasnt going to mainfest?! Then in the end they hint at Ironman, abomonation. and other characters getting together, for another Stan Lee vision, arugh! At least Indiana Jones, kept the story intact and remined true to the characters. Would have been nice to see that from Marvel.

I saw this with my wife, 24 year old son, and his girlfriend and we all agree....5 stars for great plot, tremendous/explosive action, and the ending sets the stage for whats sure to be an equally powerful sequel (Tony Stark appears) This is a must see for Iron Man, Fantastic Four and the original Hulk movie fans.

I was very put off by the first Hulk, and I was a bit hesitant to see this but when I heard who's playing the hulk I got worked up over such a great cast. Awesome movie, great action, they did a wonderful job following the sotry line and of course kudos to putting the original Hulk for a surprise appearence! I was extremly pleased with this movie and I really want to go see it again. Also worth mentioning, i know i'm not the only one who's noticing how Marvel is tying thier Comics together. hellooo! Iron man, Hulk, The Brain, Fury.... i can't wait to find out what they're planning!! ~Loki

So this is the 2nd Marvel produced movie and the hits will continue coming! This HULK so much better than the first, the action was so dead on and the acting was SUPERB! Then again, Norton and Roth worked excellent together as well! I will have to watch Ironman and Hulk back to back to see which is better but this was EXCELLENT!

This movie was incredible! Casting Edward Norton as Banner was the best decision they could've made. He is one of my favorite actors and when I saw his performance in this movie he did not disappoint. He gave the character credibility and made the audience connect with his feelings. Liv Tyler also played a beautiful role alongside Norton. The story was well developed and left no one out of the loop from die-hard Hulk fans to those who knew nothing about the comic book story. The fight sequences were amazing and the graphics were great. I just saw the movie yesterday, I'm going back tonight to see it with more people. All I have to say.

I did not really enjoy the movie - but my husband and kids loved it. I think it is a little too loud and scary for younger children. It had a lot of action - but just was not my cup of tea.
