Two hours flew by as I was lost in the confrontation between Nixon and Frost. I don't think I moved in my seat once. Having lived through this episode of history and seen those interviews, this film was every bit as riveting as the real thing...perhaps more because of new insights into the back story of the setup of the "get".
Langella's face, especially in the silent contemplative moments, told a compelling story of a man whose brilliance would always be mired in his anger and underlying lack of self esteem. The late night telephone call scene was as good a bit of acting as I have ever seen. The other performances were excellent, especially the always dependable Kevin Bacon
