This movie was a bit of a letdown. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it. As some other reviewers are saying... Don't go in remembering everything you saw in Part 1 then you're good to go, but the second you start making comparisons the movie just sucks.
It is confusing to me how some reviewers expected "so much" out of a 4th installment of a series that basically died on arrival after the 1st movie - I mean the original was great. You don't go watch Scream 4 and expect to walk away talking about it like you've just watched, I don't know, A Clockwork Orange? It is what it is, and I found it entirely entertaining in that crappy teen completely predictable wannabe horror flick that it is... Go. See it. Enjoy it. There may even be some nudity in this one, or not.
This movie was a complete and utter waste of my time. It is the first movie in a long time that actually made me nod off while watching it. I think I actually did fall asleep once or twice. The Ground Hog day like cuts and the insistence with the Criminal Minds twist just was very poorly done. Save your money.
And it was GOOD!!! Definitely worth the money, and well written to keep you on your toes. Bradley Cooper did this movie justice when I wasn't expecting much of it. Loved his semi-screw-it-all position when he was down, and his screw-everyone position when he was up.
As I returned from watching this very boring Matt Damon movie which ended in a very dry disconcerting way - I could not help but realize that the trailers were the ENTIRE movie. Don't waste your money on "The Adjustment Bureau" let it adjust to On Demand first, or better yet wait for it to hit the Red Box.
I was waiting for this movie to hit theatres, and wasn't expecting much of it in the sense that some reviewers expect - this is a comedy after all with all the markings of a potential flop. Turns out... This movie is funny. Funny. Funny. The jokes go beyond the one liners you see in the trailers and then some, and just when you thought you'd seen it all you see just a wee bit more. All told it does turn into a sappy love story somewhere in the middle, and the end could have been so much BETTER, but then again it appears they setup a sequel... DO NOT LEAVE when the credits roll - there's a bit of a surprise ending after they do. If you don't go in expecting an Oscar movie then you will be very happy.
Remember Taken? Well let this movie take you there again, and then some. The story builds up and you get to a point where you wonder just exactly what's going to happen, maybe even feel like you wasted your money coming to see this film, and then it all starts coming together in a way you REALLY didn't expect. Yes there's always that one person that says, "I KNEW IT!" Let that person surprise you watching this movie when their jaw drops.
