I absolutely loved this movie. It had visually beautiful scenes. It was incredibly romantic and quite a tear jerker but in a good way. I haven't read all of the books but this movie makes me want to read Breaking Dawn.

I have read the books and feel that the movies follow as well as they could. This movie was a tad dark, but you should have expected that if you read the series. I feel they did an excellant job with everything. I have seen it 2 times already and will see it a 3rd in theaters. I Loved the wolf scenes, and am more of an Edward fan. I did like Jacob more this time around. The music is also wonderful because they combined the whole series. For me, it was wonderful and definatly recommend!!

Of course it's not as intense as the book but it kept with the pace. You honestly don't have to have read the books to love this movie. I've seen it twice, it's just that good. Leaves you anxiously waiting for part 2.. I can NOT wait.. P.S. TEAM EDWARD!!

This installment to the Twilight Saga was hands down the best. Your probably thinking ugh another twilight freak... sure I am but I know a good movie and twilight fan or not this was good! Although if you had not read the books or seen previous movies you will definantly be confused, but for once Stephanie and crew picked the perfect man for the job! This guy did such a good job they should redo all the others using him! Of course the actors definantly got best acting in this one than the previous or at least Kristen did. She was amazing and the effects of this movie were very blood pumpng and intense. I wouldn't recommend any one who is under 13 to see this however considering the material was mature. Now if your child can handle it and won't pick up or we persuaded then its your choice. But this movie stayed as true to the book as possible in such a limited time frame and ended at a great spot, it deffinantly made your wanting more! The comidey also kept you laughing the entire time which was a very enjoyable touch! :) Enjoy the movie!

This was one of those straight to dvd movies. or made for TV Mockbusters. Not that I hate the Twilight series... but this movie was horribly made. was NOT true to the books... sure they left stuff out, but the way it was put together... so disappointing!

This was absolutely awesome and now I'm drooling thinking about Part 2. I was really pleased with the extra scene that was inserted between the credits at the end and it leads nicely into Part 2. Way to go!

This is definitely the best of the Twilight Saga thus far! The directors use of music instead of cheesy dialogue was fantastic.
The wigs and contact lenses seemed to have improved immensely and the special effects were fantastic! I'd recommend non Twilight fans to start here and then work through the rest of the series : )

I really enjoyed the movie and was hoping for it to be purchase worthy. I didn't appreciate the honeymoon scenes and felt that justice would have been done for those had they pinned the camera up instead of having to show Bella naked and just missing things that would have made this movie a R rating. I loved the show other than those "undesirable" parts. We all know what happens on honeymoons. Why show it. Spare us, please. I will recommend the movie, but will caution it as well.

Breaking Dawn Part 1 was by far my most favorite of them all. The actors/actresses have definitely molded into their characters, especially Kristen Stewart. The last 45 minutes kept me on edge and I was totally blown away by Jacob. The last scene left me begging for more; can't wait until Part 2 comes out. It is a shame fans have to wait that long.

So I have been much anticipating this movie release date like everyone else. For all its hype I was a bit disappointed that they didn't spend more time on the wedding, the honeymoon, or the movie in general. It was barely two hours long. I am a huge Twilight fan but the movie moved at such a fast pace it was hard to enjoy. I will go back and see it again. Hopefully they will release a extended version like LOTR.

I enjoyed this movie very much and so did my daughter. It was pretty true to the book. I liked the subtle humor and the special effects. The action scenes were great. Great ending , what a good way to set us up for the next movie!

I have been waiting for this movie for so long and was completly disappointed! The movie started so slow and never really came up to the potential there was in the book. I know the books are alway better but wow, this was beyond disppointing. All I have to say is part 2 had better make up for this complete let down.

The 4th movie in the Twilight series is good; however none have even held a candle to Twilight that was directed by Catherine Hardwicke. None of the three movies that followed the first movie in the series have had the same cool feel and were as true to the book as her movie.
Breaking Dawn is a good movie and does tell a good story but there are some HUGE problems with this movie.
First,the biggest intentional or unintentional gaff was that for some reason they chose not to have the vampires sparkle in the sunlight. This is HUGE in my opinion. The entire reason Edward takes Bella to their own private island is so that they can be in the sunlight together. But now all of a sudden Edward no longer sparkles in the sunlight. I don't see how you can change a basic characteristic like that. Very disappointing.
Secondly, if you have not read the books and are just watching the movie I don't think the movie depicts how after her wedding Bella is saying goodbye to her parents FOREVER. You just get the feeling she is just saying goodbye the way a daughter would when she is moving out and is going to be living with Edward. This is a really big part of the movie and I don't think people will get the importance of that goodbye if they have not read the books.
I am not one of those people who are like, "The Book was better than the movie!" Because that is obvious. So if you go watch and be entertained it is good. Just don't think too much about it.

I absolutely loved this installment, it definitely surpassed my expectations. I think they stuck to the book fairly well and did a perfect job fitting the movie into the rating. I'm sure they did as much as they could, here is another hoping they offer an uncut version. I think the acting was better than all the other movies, they have really molded into their characters. I can't wait to see it again. Fans will not be dissappointed!!!

The beginning of the movie, and the end of the movie were really good. However, the middle part of this movie was so incredibly slow and boring. I wish the makers would've added more to it so that I wasn't so miserable.

The movie was an excellent. They didn't linger too long on any one part. They spaced it out evenly and I would have to say they stayed pretty close to what is in the Book. I enjoyed the comedic moments that were in the movie and it was definitely the best one of the series so far. Awesome Movie and and a must see.

I went to see the movie last night with my best friend whom I'd been planning for a month with! Got the tickets online and arrived at the theatre erly like we were supposed to and to my surprise the line was almost around the building! The box office told me that as long as I had our two tickets we were guaranteed a seat! so security was not gonna let us in but the mgr did because I'm disabled and just came from being hospitalized from Brain Surgery! It was well worth the wait! we got in and saw our movie and to me it deserves fiver stars! I think it should have shown more but then again I wasn't making the movie either!

Having seen all the Twilight films thus far, the only person who seemed to be consistently in touch with his emotions was Jacob/ Taylor Lautner but until the end he was a one trick pony so the ending clarified something. Pattison was good and KStew was almost emotionless. She didn't seem to show that much depth at finding out she was pregnant and how much danger she was in. Yes she wanted the baby.. but where was the fear for herself. The rest of the cast was undertutilized.. and seemed to be almost cameo appearances. Can't wait to see pt 2 bec hopefully they won't be so sluggish

Twilight BD Part 1 was AMAZING. The story itself did not stray to far from the book (I should know- I've read the series more than 10 times) and in places where they had to combine parts for the sake of time, it was very well done. I liked the humor that was thrown in here and there. The wedding, the dress and the honeymoon were fabulous. I thought it was very interesting how they showed Bella's transformation. The CGI was so well done that it was shocking. I can't wait to see it again!
