I went with a group of girlfriends and we all left with a smile on our faces. Predictable chic-flick, but very cute. Amy Adams is such a down to earth character, it's obvious she hasn't had any work done and we could relate so much more to the movie because of this. Her genuine looks and bright smile make her a joy to watch and Matthew Goode was quite entertaining. The scenery in the film is absolutely stunning!

Skip this uninspired movie about a woman who maps her life out with checklists and picks lovers because they're cardiologists and can get her into the condo complex she dreams of occupying. My friend and I really liked this movie. It was cute, sweet and everything we were expecting from this movie. Matthew Goode is delicious in this movie, and Amy Adams returns as a big eyed girl looking for love. Don't try to make this movie into anything isn't, but enjoy it just as it was meant to be a pure romantic comedy.

The past 2 years Meryl & Amy have been moving side by side & neck and neck thru various movie genres, even together as nuns & cooks, so I can't help compare their 2 romantic comedies out side by side: If you've seen "It's Complicated" a VERY funny movie well acted with NO chemistry between Meryl and Alec (blame that on Alec). In Leap Year, funny moments are more slapstick (flying shoes) compared to the brilliantly funny acting in It's Complicated. But the romantic chemistry in LY is classic and wins hands down over IC. The outcome in LY is more predictable but it feels good. It's the wry and twisted Irish humor that makes this special, a brand of wit that will put a crinkle in your smilin' eyes. Bring a date, married or not.

Took my wife to see this and she loved it. I did too. You could take your whole family but I doubt that little kids would enjoy it. It's purely about romance. It's great for married couples and unlike so many other romance movies, this one has no immorality in it.

I thought the movie was ok. Not bad but not something I would reccommend. I did not get the chemistry between the two, it didn't show onsceen. Noone in the theatre laughed so I don't think it was funny at all. I did not like man who played the lead, he was not a good fit. This is a RENTAL!!
