DVD Release?? This Doc about MSF missions is a richly textured picture of incredible determination in face of deeply disturbing situations. While HQ is admittedly involved from afar & brings own agenda to table, the spirit of each professional, whether "expert expatriate" or local staff member portrays brief glimpse into world of people Living In Emergency. Powerful footage challenges audience to reflect on role we each might take in graphic situations. Overall, well done. Bravo! Two suggestions for Part 2, perhaps? # Dig deeper into experience of local staff - they make up vast majority of MSF missions, no? # Re discussion afterward: Serious issues, not a game show. Needs someone who knows more re: int’nl humanitarian issues.

Being a member of the medical profession, I know this movie is a pretty realistic view of things in the field. Tempers are short. Things are in short supply but good times are found in the little things. The docs were true to themselves and certainly were not acting when they shared their feelings with the cameraman. Certainly this was not ER, but ER is not real. This was real.

I found the movie to be incredibly moving and extremely well done. It is very informative about how Doctors without Borders works and operates, and it illustrates the difficulties that these doctors face during their missions. I'd highly recommend seeing this movie.

I was disappointed in this movie. I know that MSF does amazing work in many difficult places. I think this was a very sanitized movie and did not capture the amazing things these brave people do. ER did a better job of showing the difficulties of working in Africa than this did. It reminds me of Bagdad:ER, which was also very sanitized. If people are going to give their lives to help others, why not show it for what it really is? Maybe Americans would stop complaining over trivial things and start being grateful we live in a country that isn't attacking itself or being attacked by others.

This was an intense and gripping movie with a very close range view into the activities of this extraordinary organization. I have told friends about it and recommended they see it but don't know when it will be aired next. I would like to see it again myself. A very informative movie, though not always easy to watch.

This movie will give your priorities and life a new perspective. It renewed my commitment to help MSF and continue contributing to this group which is doing an amazing job. I hope they make more films about their work. I just hoped the movie's flow was a little better but the content and message was so strong that it is a must-see-movie for everyone to see what kind of a world we live in and why we should help to make it better.
