this was such an amaizing movie I even went to see it for a secound time wanting to see the details because I could have missed something and it was even better the secound time around. This movie is obviously based on scenarios similar to the European invasion of North America, and the destruction of Native American society and their natural resources. If you can get past that, and I can, this is a great movie with phenomenal special effects, and the 3D isn't overdone. My son, who is in his 20's, saw Avator 3 times before I saw it on Christmas Day. That inspired me to go to see it. I was excited to see people of all ages at the theater with such excitement of what was to come and were still in the excitement of what the movie entertainment brought for them as they left the theater. I didn't know exactly what to expect coming into this movie, other that it was heavy on CG and that it was a sci-fi movie. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't a "shoot 'em up" movie about aliens (a la "Aliens"), especially since Sigourney Weaver was in it . There is some violence in the movie, but it's not out of proportion, and the graphics are so well done, it's hard to describe. An additional bonus was to watch the entire movie in 3D. This one is definitely going to win some Oscars!

Visually stunning, a cinematic masterpiece. It has been a long time since I have been totally blown away by a movie and I am very happy to have seen this movie. Better that Best Movie Ever. Its better than a 10. I will see this movie in the theatre again and again! If I could give it a 20 I would! I cheared and clapped which I never do! What a great 3D experience! This was by far the best 3D movie I've seen. Great story line and excellent animation. This is the first 3D movie I've seen where you almost forgot that it was in 3D once the movie began. To me, that shows that the 3D enhanced the movie but the movie wasn't overtaken by the 3D effects.

I think this was an excellent movie, the graphical visuals was outstanding, especially in 3D. The story line was good as well; although it was 2:40 minutes i did not lose interest through the movie, it actually didnt seem that long like most movies do. Good vrs evil is it. But some scenes are incredibly done, and in the end, you are going to see the special effects, not any great story. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. While the 3D seemed a little more like 2D, there were times when I felt I was actually in the forest with the characters. I fell in love with the beautiful backgrounds & was moved by the character portrayals. Great film.

This was a unique experience. Saw it in 3-D which is a must! Great story, absolutely terrific visual effects/colours. A truly magnificent movie, you get so wrapped up in the atmospher that you do not notice the passage of time, didn't want it to end.
