The 3D version of this movie was phenomenal! The graphics, the story, and the message behind it all were exceptional. The romance didn't ruin the movie like so many others are. Not a big fan of 3D glasses, but this movie was well worth a few uncomfortable moments of getting used to them.
I can't wait for the DVD and soundtrack to come out, although I may have to see it a few more times on the big screen.

This was a wonderful movie. I went solo and found myself talking to fellow movie goers. It's a definite contender for any award given for special effects. Pay extra to get the 3D experience, it's worth it. It made me forget I was watching it on 42nd st for just a little bit. Beautiful scenes, wonderful story line. Quite a few messages mixed in there that many will see clearly. There is a bit of sensuality so careful with the kiddies, and the intense epic battle are quite graphic. Otherwise, worth watching! The blue creatures are so well done that you immediately buy the premise of a new world and alien species. One of the best sci-fi movies ever done. The humans actually seem to be standard characters found in any movie while the aliens have a depth to them. The scenery drawn by the computer is mind blowingly beautiful.

One of the most beautiful visuals I have seen in a movie! The quality of the graphics, the colors and all in 3D!! The graphics team definitely deserves an award! But the storyline is SOOOOO weak and lame. Seriously, it didn't even have a little of an interesting twist at the end or something. ...Your typical "Cowboys and Indians" movie mixed with Pocahontas. I would have expected something much more creative from James Cameron, he certainly has access to better writers than that.

I was so entranced from start to finish I didn't even take a sip of water for the whole 2 hrs and 40 min. The 3D is so outstandingly realistic that my fear of heights kept kicking in and I had to take off the glasses to stop the adrenaline for a moment. The storyline was so well balanced. Not so much violence that I was turned off, and not so much romance that I felt sappy at any point. I don't think I'd take a child under the age of about 12 to this movie as there are some scary parts. This is a movie that is a must see in the theater as it absolutely will not be as good at home without the 3D.

I was skeptical at first of going to see this movie, but it actually is a great movie. Everyone I went with have loved the movie as well, there's a little something in the movie for everyone. Want to go see the movie again, worth the money to see it in 3d!

This was a beautiful movie. The bright colors and wonderful special affects kept the attention of my 5 year old. Although there was some inappropriate language for my youngester overall this was a great movie.

Excellent movie; loved pretty much every aspect of it. Recommendation, though: Try not to sit in the first few rows, if you're seeing it in 3d. It still works there, but a few of the effects will make your eyes work too hard.
