This Is It was an excellent movie. It was as if we were up close and personal with MJ, his dancers, musicians, and crew. Seeing all the behind the scenes work was great. MJ was so talented he had the ability to work with the entire show to make sure it was perfect. It was great watching my 11 year old son , with his glove, dancing and singing to the classic MJ songs. With the remake of Thriller and Smooth Criminal, I couldn't have asked for anything better. I hope everyone that was a member of the MJ crew gets recognized for their hard work.
Now - BRING ON THE DVD!!!!

This was a great way to see inside what really went on at Michael Jacson's rehearsals. The dancers, the whole crew and Michael were going to put on a heck of a show. It was a great way for dedicated fans to get a glimpse of what was to come. I would go see it again!

This movie for me was bittersweet. I am sadden that I will never see such a talented person as Michael ever perform again. No more videos! No more songs! And as always Michael makes his point and shows us how he feels about the world. It was great to see what his last performance was going to be like, and to see Michael at a more personal level. I was a little disappointed to not see any of his signature moves, especially the moonwalk! I guess he was saving all that for showtime,... too bad. I thought it would be hard to do justice to the genuis of MJ. But this labor of love did it. Which is amazing when you consider they were using rehearsal filming not intended as a finished movie.This is all about Michael as a artist-his dancing,his music-his need to reach out with his message of love. You have the privalege of being like one of the cast members involved in pulling together this amazing show. The two hours went too fast. Many stayed in the theater watching with tears of joy and sadness until the last credit. I can't wait to own this movie.

I took my son and a group of his friends to This Is It for my son's birthday. I'm forty, and the boys are around 12; we all loved it. I was amazed to see that the MJ I remembered from my youth had retained and refined his agility, fluidity, and voice. He seemed so in control and absolutely in touch with every detail of the amazing spectacle his concerts surely would have been. I'm so sad that he never got to perform this for us, and have the comeback/appreciation in life that he now has in death. But I'm grateful to have had this glimpse into the last days of this great artist. It's a wonderful tribute, and a huge reminder of our loss.

At first i didn't think I would like the movie! I only went so my nephew could go! I was so into the movie I didn't even leave my seat! This Is It was Fantastically made!! I wasn't sure what to expect, but was very pleased with the outcome! Never having had an opportunity to have seen Michael in concert, I felt that this was truly the next best thing to it!! Michael was indeed a Genious and a Perfectionist! He knew exactly the way he wanted his music and his feelings portrayed! I loved this movie! But I was sad when I left because it made me face the fact that Michael is no longer with us. This movie showed us parts of him that have not been available in the past. It showed how he wanted nothing but the best for his fans. It showed how much he really did love everyone...and everything. We could see what a genius he really was. We saw his humanness. Great sadness and great happiness! Sadness - because He is gone and happiness - because He will live forever in His great music and I love my dear MJ forever! What a great show could it be, if He was still here!!! I cried when I see this movie, because it is such clear proof what a great person we all lost! Thank you for this 2 hours I spent with my dear Michael and Thank you , my dear Angel for being on this Planet, soooo short time!!! I will love you forever!!!

Michael got his message out - not the way he intended to but through this movie. This movie let us see glimpses of the real Michael..he had no way to know when he was being filmed during dress rehearsals that all would see. His innocence and love came through as well as who he was....a caring man with a great love for this world and everyone in it. I have never believed he was someone who did the things we were led to believe by the media. We only hear what the media wants us to hear and so many are so gullible and thrive on gossip. Michael cared about the earth and every one of us on it...we lost him way too soon. God Bless Michael....we know you are with us.
