This movie will make a believer out of the naysayers. He is (I can't bring myself to say was) the most talented artist the world has ever known. "This Is It" showed the dedication Michael Jackson had toward presenting a good show. The rehearsal footage is great and you could see this was going to be a series of great performances. His attention to detail is shown as well as his concern for the singers, dancers, and musicians who are obviously effected by working with him. The "Smooth Criminal" sequence connects Old Hollywood to Modern Hip Hop Technology. This is a great film and should be seen by all.

It is so sad that MJ died. This would have been the concert of the decade. I loved the footage of the behind the scenes things that go into a concert. It was fabulous to see his dancing and how amazing he was with the music - to get everything 'just right'. I would recommend it, I will probably buy a copy when they sell it. I did not give it 5 stars because I do think it was about 30 minutes too long and I would have liked to see more background things.

Loved the movie and seeing MJ at work. Almost made me forget that he is gone.
Took my 15-year old daughter with me, so we spanned a couple of generations. We were doing dance moves (in our seats) and thoroughly enjoyed the movie, the music, the behind-the-scene work that went into putting an MJ concert together. It's so sad that we won't see that concert--so sad that MJ is gone.

It was amazing that MJ at 50 years old still had all the "moves". Regardless of all the turmoil in his life, he was an amazing and very talented person. He seemed so excited that he was going on tour. It truly was incredible. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would go see it again.

This Is It" was truly "IT" for Michael Jackson fans...I couldn't sit still. I loved the new videos. I loved the selections chosen for the concert. I can't wait to purchase the DVD!!! It is destined to be a classic. Micheal Jackson was a musical genius. He will live on FOREVER through his music. I think he was humanly misunderstood, but musically he was crystal clear. Michael was not just the King of Pop, he was the King period. The best there ever was and the best there ever will be. His rehearsal footage was sooooo good. This movie was excellent, that concert would have been amazing!! Definitely was gonna be the best show there ever was and will be. I got a little teary thinking about how that show was never gonna happen, and how this man that was so talented and larger than life is gone from this world, but his music will always live on!!

This movie was amazing! It is such a shame that we will never get to see "This Is It" live. In my opinion, MJ was the most talented person on the planet. What I love about this movie, is that it shows the true Michael. Not only do you see his artistic and musical talent but you also see his great sense of humor and desire for perfection. He truly wanted to put on an amazing show for his fans. I personally believe, if the concert was even half of what we saw in the movie, this would have been the best concert of all time.

I was never a big MJ fan until I started listening to his music after he passed away. The music he created was incredibly inspiring and such sweet and gentle natured.
Even though it was clear that he was running at less than 100% most of the time - it was rehearsal of course, but even MJ at 80% was amazing. There are a couple of times he took it up to 100% (or nearly) and it was fascinating to see the talent jump off the screen

This is movie was awesome. Michael was in great form and the dancers selected were amongst the best. It was great to see Michael in this setting, he was so humble, thankful, and compassionate. There will never be another performer like MJ, his music and videos will live forever. From what I saw in the movie I beleive the Tour he had planned would have been the best I ever saw. Michael was truly a genius!

I seemed to look at MJ in a whole new way throughout this entire movie. I still can't get over what a talented guy he was and how smooth his dancing was. This movie really made me appreciate MJ as the King of Pop! I will definately be getting the CD from the movie and get the move out on Blu Ray! This movie was almost like you were at the concert. MJ's vision was awesome, his dancing and singing were fantastic! You get to see a side of MJ that the public never got to see.

It is very sad that that show never made it to fruition. It would have been an incredible show to see live. It was a unique look into Michael's professional life and how much energy he put into the preparation of a show.
