I thought this movie was an incredible tribute to a musical genius. The candid shots of Michael interacting with the dancers and other crew members were a true testament to his love of music and creativity. It took me back through the years of his music in a very personal manner. I appreciated that the film focused on the concert and the creativity and talent that went into planning and choreographing it, everything that Michael held dear and clearly lived for, rather than focusing on his death and the reaction to it. To Kenny Ortega, Paul Gonaware, Randy Philips and the rest of the crew, you are all such talents and gave us all, Michael and his family included a wonderful timeless tribute.

Excellent!!!! Highly recommended. From the footage alone, you can tell the actual performance would have been phenomenal!!! My daughter knew nothing about Michael Jackson until he died, and now she loves him! This movie was a great education for her. We loved the dancing, and were amazed that a 50-year-old was dancing so well with people half his age. It would have been a fabulous live show to see, and we're sorry that that won't ever happen. He chose some very talented people. Even if you aren't an MJ fan, it really showcases his talent and contribution to music and artistry.

Have seen it 3 times. Moved beyond belief. Amazing footage and greatly appreciated. MJ moves how he feels his music. Look at his face as he performs, it is content, happy and exemplifies JOY!! I'm a 67 year old woman who has loved Michael Jackson since the beginning of the Jackson Five. I was sad for the rest of the day when I left this movie. As Michael Jackson evolved it was evident that he was a genius aside from anything else. This movie showed me what a gentle and fun loving man he was. Although I was hoping to see MJ off the stage in some form, this movie awed me. I have never seen MJ in concert and watching this movie, I wish I had. While I have always believed MJ was a performance genius - meaning he knew how to captivate - I had no idea to what extent of his overall musical genius. He writes, he sings, he guides his musicians, dancers, lighting & electronics crews...he knew what his audience wanted and what would make a phenomenal show. I was tapping my feet the whole time. A must see for all Michael Jackson fans. A musician would find it revealing and awesome. A dancer would be awed by it. This was great. I am neither a musician nor a dancer and loved to see how MJ was so involved in everything that had to do with his upcoming show. I thoroughly enjoyed this documentary simply because it was M.J. I've been a fan from The J-5, The Jacksons to Michael as a solo artist. He demonstrated his love for his fans by taking a poll to include their favorite songs in this final concert, I thought that was an admirable gesture. I would have loved to see him sing/dance more, but I understood that these were rehearsals and he was saving his voice and energy for the tour. I would recommend this to everyone M.J. fan I know, and I would definitely see it again! Michael Jackson will truly be missed, however, his music will live on.

I really liked this film because it showed Michael at his best. It was great to see how amazing his last concerts would have been. Ortega really memorialized Jackson well here. I was impressed by MJ's knowledge of music & how specific he was in how he wanted things to sound. He wasn't one of today's pop stars who sing someone else's songs, with their voices tweaked electronically. Additionally, his choreography flowed out of him effortlessly. It was interesting to watch the whole process of how the concert was put together. I'm a fan of the more upbeat songs, so I was a little bored during the slower songs, but overall I enjoyed it.

It was amazing to see Michael at work and going through the creative process. He was demanding of himself and others. While always maintaining a sense of respect for the other artists. Truly a gentleman.

I was a Michael Jackson fan before the movie, but now I am a FAN! He was so humble and respectful to his dancers and musicians, I see why they truly loved him. It was going to be an amazing concert, glad they made the movie so we could really know Michael Jackson.

Michael did exactly what he does best, performing like no other. This concert, had he lived to do it, would have transcended everything he has ever done, or anyone else for that matter. I just adore him. I would recommend this movie to everyone. There will never, ever be another Michael Jackson. He is really the "King of Pop."

After seeing Michael Jackson's This Is It movie, I realized how much of a genius, perfectionist, funny, smart, caring man he was. I have told everyone to go see this film. It is worth every dime you spend and then some. I laughed. I cried. I smiled. I was in ah. I was astounded. It made me sad. It made me mad that he is no longer of this world. I hope This Is It is sold as a DVD. I would buy it to show everyone who never saw him. He is the greatest of all time. Gone Too Soon.
