Amazing! Almost 30 year old songs and you are still moving to them like they just came out. This was going to be one amazing concert!!!!!! I still can not beleive he is gone. His voice was amazing and sweeps you to your feet. No one can deny he had a wonderful gift. I danced in my seat and cried at his voice. He worked very hard to give his fans what they craved from him. I am heartbroken that this was the last we will see him and his spectacular talent. I would love to see it again!!!!

I took my mother to see this movie and we both agreed that for Michael the best was yet to come. He was involved in every aspect of the show from selection of the dancers, to choreographing their movements in costume on stage, to tone and tempo of instrumentation, etc. I was amazed at how gracious he was to those around him. I was amazed to see an elderly white woman in her mid 90's, with the assistance of two other woman of the same race and hand rails, make her way slowly and methodically up the stairs to the very top row of the crowded theater. What a testimony to the range of people Micheal touched. As I looked over the audience, I could not help but see the diversity of ages, genders and races. Almost as though all of the"in-the-closet" Micheal fans now had a reason to come out.
I don't think there will ever be another artist like him; the music, the dance; his message; his creativity. What a talent. What a loss.

I would refer to this as a "documentary" of rehearsal for his big This Is It Concert. I LOVE TO SEE how they work so hard and prepare for all the details of their performances. Micheal Jackson or whomever it really makes you appreciate all the time and efforts that go into any stage performance. I watched this movie seeing MJ in a whole other light. This man is just amazing...to see how he demands nothing less than 100% of the dancers/singers and the band & to see how he gives 100% of himself to his fan and the art of music.

Although I've been alive all through Michael's career, and I liked his stuff, I have never been a drooling fan; I just respected his talent and enjoyed his songs when they came on the radio. When my s.o. suggested we see this, I was lukewarm, but agreed to go with her. Given all that, I have to say this may have been the best performance I have ever seen. Michael is a true genious, he treats the other musicians and dancers like family and you get to see the performances evolving through the practicices and dress rehearsals. The musicians and dancers are simply amazing as well, and you can see what a devastating blow this must have been to them when his passing was announced.

Like the others, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It reinforced my belief that Michael was not an addict - how could anyone be so focused and so energized and be an addict? He never raised his voice, never yelled and was just a kind caring person who wanted to have a fabulous show! My favorite part of the movie was "What about Us?" with the little girl and the butterfly video. This movie touched me and my soul. I have a greater appreciation for MJ.

I had previously written Michael off: As an entertainter and as an icon. Thought he was just a washed up entertainter. After seeing his passion and energy and kindness in this movie, I got a glimpse of the man from the heart. I now have a new found respect for him as an entertainer and as a person. This documentary blew my expectations, which were pretty high, away. To see the inner workings of the mind of a genius was an awesome experience. The voice is still stunning and that is entertaining in itself. But the real attraction is how in every song, every dance move, he's conducting the band, gesturing to the dancers and/or the singers, nodding to the director for changes. It is truly like being behind the scenes while Michaelangelo painted and strategized placement of the Sistine Chapel. Mind boggling, I felt priveleged to see it.
Side note, audience really benefits from seeing this in a GOOD theater with effective sound and a nice screen. No old dollar theaters! Trust me!

I cannot find the words to evaluate this movie. It is a great movie. It is sad to see such a talent leave the world so young. He is my daughter's idol. He was an amazing dancer. I would recommend this movie as a 5 star and would go and see it again. He only had love to give. Rest in Peace MJ.

Michael was truly a genius. This movie highlights not only how good of a dancer/musician he was, but the man behind it all. This gives the viewer insight into how he thinks and how he makes his visions come alive. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone.
This movie focused purely on his preparations for the "This Is It" tour and not a tribute to his death. I was hoping it would focus on the man and the music, not his death and I was very pleased. I believe also that this was their way of giving everyone a final "This Is It" concert to the best of their ability; and they did it! You will not be disappointed.
Michael truly was the KING of POP and an ICON that we will never see the likes of again! Amazing! Love it! Loved him!
