The movie was excellent!! I wish it was longer. I'm glad people finally get a chance to see Michael as he truly is & not as he's perceived. Had he lived, I would have paid ANY PRICE to see him in concert. The movie showed he still HAD IT. RIP MR. JACKSON(KING OF POP)

I grew up with MJ and have always loved his music, so I was really looking forward to the movie. I took my grandson who is a dancer and big MJ fan and we were both mesmerized. Much better than I expected. Loved it so much, I'm taking all of my grown kids to it tonight!

I loved the movie, I wanted it to be 10 hours long! Will definitely purchase the DVD when it comes out. It was incredible to see Michael Jackson dance and sing like he did. He was phenomenal. The way he communicated with staff too, so humble and so polite. His tour would have been a fantastic success. His gift to the world was enormous. His message was to love each other and the planet Earth.

Our family really loves MJ and this movie was done well. We enjoyed it. It was nice to have a closing concert of sorts and to see Michael along with the dancers and musicians all putting together such a fantasic concert, as he always did. MJ's fans have something special to see! Enjoy it!

I took the whole family to see this movie and it's a must see. I have never been to a MJ's concert and I see what I was missing. If his concert's were anything like the rehearsals then I really missed out on something good and he wasn't even giving it his all. 'This Is It' would have been the concert of concerts. I am so glad I went to see this! Michael was awesome! He may have been a little fraile but he was so lively! This truly showed his genious in so many ways other than just dancing and music. This was a fascinating movie, even if it hadn't been about MJ. Because it was about MJ, it was all the more fascinating and meaningful. It was a thrill to see the "behind the scenes" of putting a concert together, particularly one of this scale and magnitude. Micheal was in excellent form, his dancing unbelievable, his voice was strong and his command of the stage a privilege to see. I could hardly sit still in my seat and really wanted to stand and dance as if I was really at a concert. I will be going a few more times in the next couple of weeks and will surely purchase the DVD. Kenny Ortega is brilliant. The dancers were the best of the best. Thank you for the gift of this movie to all who made it happen. Love to Micheal.

I fell in love with Michael when I was nine years old. I'm still in love with him and his music. I listened and watched intently on the edge of my seat to absorb the amazing gift of his talent with the words, the dancing, the wonder of the complete work of art that the world would have been blessed with when "This Is It" opened in July. Family members said if Michael were alive, he would not have wanted this footage out for the public to see because it was not perfect. I'm so glad they decided otherewise. This was awesome footage of Michael Jackson in his last rehearsals. The man was a genious. He was definitely a perfectionist! It let us see the real Micheal. He's such a loving, kind-hearted man with so much talent it's unbelievable. My 10-year old nephew went with us to see it. He enjoyed every bit of it as well as I did. The movie screen was just the perfect size. I will forever remember Michael and this last chance for us to see who he really was!

I was impressed with this movie on so many different levels. It was so well edited, making the film, shot just for MJ's library, truly entertaining and captivating. It was also an important positive move for Michael's worldwide image, showing his total command of his art and creative vision. And it was a heart wrenching experience as well, for our loss of a master entertainer, a once in a lifetime concert experience never to be seen and a group of creme-of-the-crop artists whose dreams were also cut short. "This Is It" was originally intended to be rehearsal footage for Michael Jackson's personal archives. Lucky for those of us who have seen the movie, after his death it was decided that the footage would be shared with the world...
It is an amazing 2-hour glimpse of what would have been perhaps one of the greatest concerts EVER. Ironically, filmed just 8 days before his death, Michael Jackson appears focused, creative, healthy, and strong, out-dancing his 11 dancers who are half his age!
What would have been the "King of Pop"s triumphant return to the stage will now live on, with his music, forever.

I’ve already seen this movie twice and plan to experience it in IMAX this week. For any MJ fan, it reminds us of why we are so devoted to this gifted individual. His genius, artistic creativity, attention to detail and desire to give his best to the fans were all on display but you also saw his humility, his gentleness, his sensitivity and his abiding love and caring. I must admit though that I suffered a renewed sadness at the loss of this magnificent being. This concert would have been the most spectacular ever. Thanks Kenny Ortega, John Branca, Sony, AEG, Michael Bearden, Travis Payne, the musicians, dancers, technicians and everyone involved in creating this gift for the fans. This Is It! I can’t wait for the DVD release.

Quite simply, Michael is truly the MASTER of the entertainment industry. King of Pop, yes, but in a much broader sense, the MASTER. His talent and legacy will never be surpassed, or fully comprehended. I left the theater with a feeling of joy and satisfaction that he was so at the top of his game. This Is It is definitely worthy of an Oscar--and it is the ultimate vindication for all the world to see!
