All I can say is... WOW! I couldnt believe how much I loved this movie! Just seeing MJ in his own light, I wanted cheer after every song, and it just makes you wanna get up and dance too! I never realized how detailed his concert would be, but this just blew me away. Every little note, every little detail, approved by MJ himself. The King of Pop will be greatly missed. We love u MJ!!!

I was extremely impressed how well he treated the entire staff of the production. Even though he was the star, he treated everyone else with respect. You didn't read about any of this in the day-to-day media. He was truly an icon in his field!

Michael Jackson was amazing!! Keep in mind that the entire movie we are seeing MJ give us pretty much a half-a** effort, since he is conserving his voice and body for the actual tour. MJ half-a** is still better than any other performer out there today. This is a must see. P.S. I thought it might be a bit sad, but it was totally uplifting and reassuring to see him so happy and involved. Although it does make you a little sad to think of what could have been.

Doesn't matter what you thought about MJ at the end of his life. If you ever tapped your toe, shook your booty to one of his hits, or if you ever thought the video Thriller was amazing, this documentary will blow you away.
At 50, he was as strong a singer and impressive a dancer as he ever was at 25. He was a perfectionist and it's obvious in what was to be his final run.
This concert would have gone down in history. The reality would have actually eclipsed the hype.
See it. You will get chills down your spine.

My husband and I really enjoyed THIS IS IT. Michael came across as a very nice, considerate and humble person. Not like what you read about other stars. It's a shame that this concert will never take place as it seemed to us it would have been awesome!

I have always been a fan of Michael's music but thought that he was somewhat of a freak-show in recent years. I loved how this movie portrayed his artistic, light-hearted, passionate side. There were several parts where you saw the funny, charming side of Michael. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend this film.

Michael Jackson was a lot of things, but genius wasn't one of them. I can think of a dozen other of his contemporaries who are more qualified. He was at the forefront of many things, and he knew how to generate a bit of turbulance. But Michael Jackson was no more a genius than Elvis was. That being said, This Is It was a little better than I thought it would be. I expected the film to lean too heavily on the dull children and ecology songs of his late career. We only had to deal with one (with its garish coda at the end of the film). The rest is a fine blend of stage footage and overdubbed music that leaves us wanting to see the final concert. In the end, this was a good way to end a long, but hardly prolific, career.

I had no idea what to expect when I walked into the theatre for this movie. However, within the first 5 minutes, I realized that there couldnt be a better way to showcase his genius in the music business than to show a behind the scenes look at what he does best. His dancing and singing was incredible while his meticulous direction/guidance proved his brilliance and natural ability to give the audience something that is unique and exclusively MJ. He was so real in the movie, it made it seem like he was still here, which is the sad part....

This documentary was a wonderful behind the scenes look at what Michael was creating for his fans. It really is unfortunate that this tour never came to fruition because it would have been a heck of a show. This movie really helps you appreciate the time and energy it takes to put a show together. Truly amazing movie- would have been a phenomenal concert to see. My sister and I cried when we realized we would never get to see him live now...but the movie makes you feel like you are there and a part of the whole production. What a great movie!! It really showed us an actual behind the scene of Michael. I don't think any of that footage was intended for public view. I called it perfect for perfectionism. Before I thought, like many others he was a child abuser, but after watching him, with his mannerisms my opinions have changed. He definately had nothing but love in his heart. That is something that not very many people can say for themselves. If you love Michael's music or you like entertainment go see this movie while it's in theaters.

This was a very good movie. I don't go to many movies but I made sure I saw this one. MJ was a very talented person and it is too bad his life was cut so short. He went through alot to rehearse for his concerts and this one would of been very good to see. This made me have a different feeling towards MJ as I didn't know him like this before I saw the movie. This experience far exceeded my expectations. If you had any negative feelings about Michael Jackson, they will easily be forgotten watching him on screen doing what he does best. I always liked Michael Jackson's music although I never saw him in concert, didn't buy his albums and didn't follow his day to day life. This movie is still a great choice if you were the same type of casual listener to his music. Watching the movie you could really see and feel how Michael wanted to please and create a spectacular show for his fans. It made me wish I had been able to see him in a live concert. For sure bitter sweet. This movie really opened my eyes to a truly amazing human being,with talent that's truly beyond us. really wished I could have seen this movie when he was alive. Definately would have had a different opinion about the man he was, although never doughted his talent or humbleness.

This movie made me sad and happy at the same time. It was wonderful to see him on stage again...but sad that this amazing concert will never be. His type of genius will not be seen again for a very long time and the world is just a little be sadder that this bright light is extinguished....

This movie was like being front row at the concert. Fantastic that the footage was shared with everyone. What an amazing concert it would have been! It was also great to see Michael's genius on such a personal level.
