I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but not only was this emotional knowing that MJ will no longer entertain his fans, but qute enlightening given all the rumors that arose following his death regarding his health and abilty to perform the number of shows he comitted to. This documentary movie kept me wide awake and attentive throughout. I enjoyed this better than most concerts actually attended. You get an up close view of what his concert performance would have been like to see. The behind the scenes footage was great to see! You can not walk away and not have an huge appreciation of his genius and immense talent . You will realize more than ever what a great loss of one of the greatest performers ever! The moment when he acknowledged his brothers and parents by name and left his message to them was surreal. Once the movie was over, the entire audience watching this gave him a thundering applause. What an experience! This is a movie that is a must see!

When the screen when black and the credits started rolling I had an overwhelming sense of WOW - immediately followed by: I feel like I was ripped off. I'll never get to see Michael Jackson perform, ever, live or on film, ever. I grew up with Michael and the Jackson 5/Jacksons. I watched their cartoon - I loved ABC. Ben is still a favorite, but I love his more recent music just as much. The movie blew me away. It proved wrong most of the media who said: "He'll never dance. He's too frail, he won't make it across the stage. Bull - there's no body double in this film. The moves are all his and they're wonderful.

This movie confirmed everything for me about MJ. He was a miracle, a gift we took for granted. His talent, sense of timing, true connection to all of us who did not understand him, his pitch perfect voice, his graciousness towards everyone, his true appreciation of everything and I mean everything. I cried through the entire movie. As I watched MJ perform it was a constant reminder of who he really was, THE GREATEST PERFORMER THAT EVER LIVED. This movie was all that I expected and more. It was riveting and powerful, it was Michael Jacskon at his best. I loved watching Michael Jackson do 'his thing' so much so - that my daughter and I saw it 3 times within 12 hours!! I'm not just tuning in now...I've been following the genius for over 32 years and this movie truly shows him doing what he does best: being on stage!! He continues to prove 'why' he's the best of the best!! He's untouchable and there will never, ever be another. Definitely a must see. Being a lifelong Michael Jackson fan one would expect a positive review but I would be willing to be unbiased in order to keep this review honest. The honest to goodness truth is that it is a unique piece of film making just as unique as Michael is (not was.) I loved the way they synchronized the rehearsal scenes to match perfectly and keep a perfect flow of the songs. I loved the movie scenes in Smooth Criminal and in Thriller..just awesome. I loved this movie not just because I love Michael but because finally I felt him as a normal guy doing his thing and not just an unreachable celebrity. I cried, I laughed and I felt inspired to be a better person. Thanks, Michael.

I went to see this not really knowing what to expect. This exceeded all . I grew up watching and listening to Michael Jackson. With all the controversy about him through the decades, I think we all forgot really what this man was all about. He is a true entertainer who gave his all for the fans. He was a driven music genius, expected music perfection and gave it in return. God Bless the man who put this documentary together, it was done in great taste and truly gave us an experience that we never get to see in making his concerts. Extremely tastefully done. I left feeling the energy of a moving experience but sad that Michael Jackson is gone. The world truly lost a special gifted man. A must see.

In a little more than an hour, Kenny Ortega has done more to restore, reshape, invigorate and enhance the Michael Jackson persona, image and brand better than any marketing department, publicist or agent could possibly ever hope to accomplish. This tribute to Michael Jackson has taught me more about the creative process, respect for fellow artists, and the entertainment industry in general, than any university could hope to achieve. Anyone who loves Michael's music will LOVE this movie. I never got to one of his concerts, and admittedly, I had wavered on his character when he was accused, I laged back and wondered. It's VERY sad, because I knew then and know now that it wasn't true. He is what each person should be. Honest, loving, strong, with great work ethic and integrity. It's so very sad that his life here on earth was cut short. I long to comfort his kids and family. There will NEVER be another Michael Jackson; no one will EVER come close to his talent. God be with his family. At least he's in a better place; no more pain for him personally.

I have been a fan of Michael since he was a child. By the way, I am 67 years old and female. This movie gave a whole new insight on Michael. It has saddened me over the years to see so many try to destroy this incredibly talented man. He didn't deserve it. This movie is a tribute to his genius. How sad that his show would never been seen in it's entirety. Thank heaven someone videod what they did so we could all share his last work.

Thought it was a very interesting and informative documentary that gave an excellent insight into how talented and gifted and hard a worker Michael Jackson was. It's so sad because the film showed him to be so alive and prepared to put on one heck of a show.

If you're a MJ fan than you'll love this movie. It relives some original songs and dancing that made you a fan to begin with. Anyone within the music industry will appreciate the hard work & dedication that MJ puts into every aspect of his career. You'll see the perfectionist that he is & his need to give the audience more than they could ever expect. He is gentle & kind and they should've shown a bit more of him on a personal level rather than it being just communicated through the songs and performance. Otherwise, it is one of the most entertaining movies I have ever seen. My husband loved it and would go see it again. This coming from a man I'd never have expected to hear those words from. We are all planning to go back again this week.

This movie was excellent. It was wonderful to see Michael perform on last time. The movie truly captured his musical genious. It also showed him to be a very kind, respectful man.

It was so amazing to see Michael in his element! He was a talent that will never be replaced. His perfection in all he did can never be duplicated. It was so good to see and hear him laugh! He was truly enjoying what he was doing. This concert would have been the best work of his life. Just when you thought he had done it all, he created This is It!! I was happy and sad at the same time because he seemed so full of life. Hard to believe that this is really it! The world was cruel to him, when all he gave was love. I know now he's that amazing little boy playing, singing and dancing and Happy! I will always love my Michael. Thank you Jackson Family for sharing Michael with the World.

This movie really delivered !!!! It was more than I expected, but I don't think I could ever get enough. Regardless of what anyone may have thought about his personal life (and noone really knows) you cannot dispute that he was and is and always will be the King of Pop !!!! I think he exuded love and respect for his fans. He was a loving caring person and he loved God and this planet. This movie showed how he WAS the music--it leaked out his pores--it pulsated thru his veins. And he was the best dancer ever !!! A MUST see. This movie will live on forever !!!! I took three generations to see it with me.
