Matthew finally shows what he can do! Tense, good plot, great shots of gritty LA, and good soundtrack. Hope there is a sequel.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Don't be afraid to see this movie--you WILL understand the plot (as long as you think of it as fiction and just go with the flow).
It is intense, interesting, compelling, served with amazing effects (who needs 3D?). We saw it in IMAX with a full house, and I don't think a single person left their seat during the entire length of the film.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This film provides an insightful look into the rehearsal process for a concert tour to end all. We see the creativity, intelligence, and love Michael has for the process, the music, and the people involved. Yes, he appears frail; and yes, he conserves his actions and his voice. But there is no doubt that we are watching a genius craft his vision.
The film gives us a glimpse of what might have been, but more importantly, a glimpse of Michael's love. The audience laughed, cried, and applauded.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
